Chapter Eighteen

8 and a half months

Lorenzo's pov:

Sky's panic attacks have been getting worse as the hours go by and her intense scratching at her arms is something I've learned she does when she has the urge to relapse.

Squatting down in front of her I place my hands on top of hers. "Baby" I whisper grabbing her attention. She glances at our hands her eyes glossing over.  "Come here" I whisper, sitting on the couch beside her.

I pull her onto my lap and she immediately breaks down. "We will find her" I whisper, placing a kiss to the top of her head. Her body shakes as her tears stain my shirt.

"How could this happen?" She asks pulling back to look me in the eyes. "I don't know baby" I whispered, wiping a tear away.

The office door flies open and our heads snap to the door. "Lorenzo we found her" Luca says breathlessly. Sky immediately scrambles from my lap as I rise from the couch.

"Gather everyone" I order making my way towards the door. Sky's hand flies out grabbing mine. I freeze and look back at her. "I'm going with you" she says her voice soft.

Turning around I cup her face, "baby I promise I'll get her back safely, but you coming with me is not an option" I say softly. She shakes her head "please Lorenzo" she begs. "No Amore" I whisper before giving her a quick kiss and leaving the office.

Sky follows me closely to the foyer where our men have gathered. "Let's go" is all I need to say before everyone begins to exit, me following behind,

Sky's pov:

I pace around the living room, biting my nails as I wait for Lorenzo to get home with Gabriella. Please be okay. "Sky, sit down pacing isn't going to do anything" Tyson says walking up behind me and grabbing my shoulder.

Before I can reply crying echoes through the house.

She's home

Sprinting from the living room I head into the foyer just as Lorenzo closes the door. Within seconds I'm infront of him and taking Gabriella from his arms.

Tears run down my cheeks as I hold her close to me. "I'm here baby, mummy's right here" I whisper, placing a kiss to her cheek.

"The doctor is on his way to check her over" Lorenzo says softly. I nod and look up at him, "Do we know who took her?" I ask through a sob. He seems to stiffen, "she was taken under my father's orders" he says through gritted teeth.

HIS OWN FATHER

"I-I" my mouth clamps shut. What do I even say to that. "Boss the doctors here" Carter says interrupting. "Send him up to our room" Lorenzo says before placing his hand on the small of my back and leads us up to our bedroom.

The doctor has left and thankfully Gabriella has no injuries. She's a little dehydrated but he said with a feed or two she should be fine. Lorenzo has also tripled the security around the place.

Resting my arm on a pillow, I feed Gabriella. Both Lorenzo and I refuse to take our eyes off her and Tyson said he'd sleep in Keith's room tonight to ensure nothing happens to him.

Once Gabby has had enough I set her down in the co sleeper. Enzo's sat on the corner of the bed, in nothing but grey sweatpants. He looks extremely tense. Crawling to the foot of the bed I settle myself behind him.

Placing my hands on his shoulders I begin messaging them. He glances over his shoulder, his hand coming up to rest on one of mine.

I pause my brows furrowing. Gently grabbing my hand he twists me so I'm sitting on his lap. "I'm so sorry Lorenzo" I whisper, placing my free hand on his cheek.

He sinks into my touch, his eyes closing for a moment. Before he can say anything the bedroom door flies open and Keith runs in.

"Where's sissy, I want to see sissy" he says running towards our bed before climbing into the middle of it. "Sorry, I tried to stop him" Tyson says from the doorway.

Gabby babbles and Keith immediately heads towards the co sleeper. "She's okay" he says excitedly looking towards us. Smiling I nod, "she's okay" I repeat. Gently he runs his hand over her head before leaning over and placing a kiss on her temple.

"Goodnight sissy" he says before making his way towards us. "Goodnight" he says wrapping his tiny arms around my neck before moving to Lorenzo.

"Goodnight buddy" we say in sync as he heads towards the door. "Night Tyson" I say looking towards the door. "Night" he says before closing it.

Turning my attention back to Lorenzo I place a soft kiss to his lips. "Come on, let's try and get some sleep" I whisper as I move off his lap and back up the bed.

Lorenzo lays down beside be and pulls me close. "Goodnight Amore" he whispers as he places a kiss just under my ear. "Goodnight Lorenzo" I whisper, closing my eyes with a smile on my lips.
