Bonus chapter Pt 2

Sky's pov:

"Come on Sweetheart, you need to eat" Sarah whispers running her fingers through my hair. "I'm not hungry" I reply staring at the wall ahead. "Mummy?" Keith's voice sounds from the door. "Come in buddy" Sarah replies before I can. The bed dips behind me before tiny chin rests on my shoulder.

"Mummy, why aren't you eating?" He asks his breath fanning my cheek. Slowly I roll on my back and pull him into me. In the corner of my eye I see Enzo leaning against the door frame, arms crossed and eyes red.

He sent Keith up here

"Because I'm not hungry" I reply softly. Pulling away he leans over and grabs a chip from the tray on Sarah's lap. "Just have a little bit" he says holding it out. I don't move, instead I just stare at him.

"Please mummy" he says quietly, sighing I take a small bite. "All of it mummy" Keith says waving the chip. Rolling my eyes I eat the rest of the chip. He leans over and grabs another one.

"Keith" I whisper, "just one more mummy" he pleads. Opening my mouth he places the chip in my mouth. I eat it then place a kiss to his cheek. "Thank you" I whisper.

His tiny arms wrap around my neck, and I hold him in my embrace. Tears well and I stare at the ceiling. "I love you mummy" he whispers into my neck. "I love you too buddy" I whisper my voice breaking.

He pulls back and places a kiss on my cheek. That
was enough to cause the tears to fall. Sarah wipes the tears away with her thumb as Lorenzo moves away from the door and takes a seat next to me.

Keith eyes widen, as he turns his attention to Enzo. "I made mummy cry" he says guilt in his voice. "It's not you buddy" he says quietly moving Keith to his lap.

He whispers something to Keith who nods before sliding off his lap and leaving the room. Rolling onto my side I stare at the wall, tears streaming down my face.

Sarah rises and leaves the room, Enzo taking her spot. His fingers run through my hair, his lips placing a soft kiss to the side of my head.

"Hold me" I whisper, my body shaking with a sob. Immediately I'm lifted onto his lap, his arms wrapped tightly around me.

It hurts

Lorenzo's pov:

A small knock catches my attention. Looking over my shoulder I see Brody standing at the bedroom door. "Can I come in?" He asks, his tone soft. I nod once before turning my attention to Sky who's curled up in my lap.

"You have a visitor" I whisper moving a stand of her hair. She looks up at me, confusion in her eyes. "Sky?" Brody asks. She sits up her eyes landing on her brother.

Slowly she moves off my lap and makes her way towards Brody. Immediately he hugs her, his hold tight. She hugs him back with just as much strength. "I'm so sorry Sky" he whispers into her shoulder.

"I'm so sorry for everything" he continues, pulling back to look her in the eyes. She gives him a small smile. "It's okay" she whispers and he shakes his head.

"It's not okay, I was a jerk and you didn't deserve that-" he pauses for a minute, "I guess I was just feeling left behind." He mumbles. Sky's brows farrow and he glances up at her.

"It use to be the three of us and then before I knew it you had a whole new family" he whispers. Sky pulls him into another hug. "I love you idiot" she whispers causing him to smile against her shoulder.
"I love you too" he whispers.
