After about an hour of driving around, Yunho finally pulled into a parking lot near a pretty lively looking shopping center. It didn't matter if the sun had set, if anything, this area might even lean towards business after dark. Wooyoung looked around anxiously, many different parks cars filling the lot, almost completely to the brim.

"Alright, so what's the plan?" Wooyoung asked skeptically, not having been told anything this entire time. Neither Yunho nor San seemed to be talking about what was going to go down, too caught up in random lighthearted conversations.

At the same time San and Yunho looked to one another, then turned in their seats to look back at Wooyoung. The hunter didn't like the sheepish looks on their faces, getting a bad feeling in his gut.

"The plan is you're going to stay here, where you're safe." San explained gently, though was very stern at the same time. His eyes pleaded for Wooyoung to understand.

"Wait, what?" Wooyoung let out, baffled. He wasn't expecting that response, and it made those feelings he felt just prior seem so ridiculous.

"Don't take offense this Wooyoung, but we've been doing this a long time, and we have our process down to a T. If San knows you're here, safe, then it can just let us do our thing as normal." Yunho added as carefully as possible, reaching to undo his seatbelt while trying to keep his caring eyes on the hunter. "You can just watch the car and text us if anything unsettles you."

Wooyoung grumbled a bit, watching Yunho get out of the car first, rounding it to get to the very back. San remained in his seat, giving the hunter heart-eyes through a look of concern.

"You know, I wanted to come cause I didn't want to be separated from you." Wooyoung muttered in annoyance, bringing his heels up onto the edge of the seat, hugging his legs, resting his chin on his knees.

"Sunshine, please just trust us." San frowned, reaching back and balancing himself by putting a hand just under Wooyoung's knee. "We won't be too far away, out of your sight, yes, but I'll still be able to listen out for you. And I know you say you'll be just fine being there while we gather blood, but I'm protective and don't want to push anything just yet. It's been a week, and you can't hide your nightmares from me, I know you're still struggling, even if you're trying to consciously suppress it, so please just let me protect you where I can."

Wooyoung sighed, looking straight into San's eyes. He jaw locked up, his eyes turning away to glare out the window, overlooking the varying amount of parked cars.

"I never said I didn't trust you, so I don't know where that came from." Wooyoung said under his breath, his attitude clear as day. He kept his eyes pointed away, feeling the car jostle a little from the back. A few thumps followed, made with purposeful intent, a clear signal. "Just go San, I need to cool down anyway. Apparently it isn't just you vampires all up in a mood."

San let out a heavy sigh, getting out of the vehicle in one swift motion. Wooyoung thought he was going to walk away, but to his surprise the back door opened, San plopping in the seat beside him for a brief moment. Their entire sides pressed into one another, San wrapping a delicate arm around the smaller's shoulders. He leaned into Wooyoung's vision, gentle, knowing eyes scanning the smaller's.

"I love you." San tightened his hold for just a moment, leaning in further to plant a quick kiss on Wooyoung's forehead before backing away entirely.

Wooyoung's body betrayed him, lips pulling upward in a small smile.

"Love you too." Wooyoung responded, the attitude gone from his voice as he glanced over at San.

San mirrored his smile, closing the door with a strong arm. Wooyoung could hear both San and Yunho talking outside of the car, but he wasn't entirely picking up on what they were saying. He watched as they moved around the front of the vehicle, confused when Yunho was going back to the drivers seat.
