Part 20: The Club

"Yeah I guess sure" Billie says.

The rest of the car ride is silent. She drops me off and I knock on the door.

"Hey babe everything ok?" Mia asks

"Yeah just some stuff happened with Billie" I say

"Oh my god explain" Emma hands me a glass of wine

"The other night, she got videoed at the concert she was at, singing into her friend Odessa's mouth. She swear she didn't cheat, and we resolved it and that's when we say we loved eachother. Then last night she went out with friends, this same girl kisses her, she says she pushed her off. I trust her and ask her not to see this girl anymore. Then Odessa turned up at Billie door and of course she let her in to talk so I went to bed. Today was great meeting billies parents but another one of Billies friends called her begging to help out with Odessa and so that's where she is now. With her and not me" I say downing my wine

"I cannot believe she would do that, she's chosen this girl over and over and then takes you to meet her parents" Mia says in shock

"I know, do you think I'm stupid to trust her" I say

"Think about it this was Y/N Billie is in the public eye, I'm sure if she was lying you would find out and she knows that" Emma explains

Mia pulls out her phone and after a moment says "there's an article 'Trouble in paradise; Singer Billie Eilish seen pushing off friend Odessa A'zion after she tried to kiss her!', she was telling the truth at least"

"Doesn't excuse her behaviour though, she lied about not seeing her anymore" Emma added

"I don't know what I'm gonna do with her I just want to go out and get drunk" I say filling my glass up.

After another hour of drinking, we head to a club. I go up to the VIP area with the girls, we've been here many times especially after moving here.

"Hey John" I greet my favourite security guard

"Evening Miss Y/L/N have fun" he says opens the rope to the upstairs balcony.

When we get up the stairs we grab drinks and sit in a booth before heading to the dance floor. We dance to every white girl banger that comes on not caring about who's watching and helping me forget about everything.

"Y/N" I hear being shouted, whipping my head around I see a man that looks really familiar.

"Who are you?" I ask Mia and Emma join me in looking in his direction as he walks towards us

"Wow you don't remember me" He scoffs. Looking at him closer he's the dickhead from the party. Great!

"What do you want?" I ask over the situation already

"I told you that I'd run your career somehow Y/N" he says

"Since you've been keeping tabs on me searching up my name, you'd know that you failed" I say

"I'm not done yet" he smirks

"You tried to touch up my girlfriend and got butt hurt when you got rejected and pushed grow up" I spit out causing Mia to place a hand on my shoulder telling me to stop. I realise what I've just said, admitting to him that me and Billie dating.

"Nice to know she's your little girlfriend, I'm sure the press would love to know by morning" he taunts moving closer to me leaving inches between us so that he's in my face.

"Fuck off" I say stepping back slightly "Seriously what is your problem, it's like you're obsessed with me. Or with Billie" it's clear this makes him angry because the next thing I see is him reaching out to shove me causing me to fall onto my butt.

He looks over me before saying "she should've been mine" and walking away.

Emma helps me up saying "he is crazy what is that dudes problem"

We make our way back over to the VIP balcony and see mr dickhead arguing with John as we approach we hear "just let us up man google me"

The girls and I laugh as we walk up to John. "Have you not embarrassed yourself enough" I continue to laugh. Turning to John I feel his fist connect with my head making me fall.

Opening my eyes I see Mia and Emma stood above me both panicking, Mia is holding my head as Emma rambles down the phone.

"What happened" I ask

"He knocked you out Y/N, you couldn't have seen it coming, he got dragged out, he's been taken to the police station" Mia answers.

I sit up feeling my head throb before Emma says "Billie is coming to get you"

As much as I want to feel relieved that she is coming to pick me up I can't think about her with Odessa while I was still fighting this dude for her.

I then see John appear with an ice pack in hand. "Here this is for your head kid. I'm sorry for not stopping him I truly didn't see it coming. But I did enjoy dragging him out to police" John says playing the ice pack on my head.

"No problem John, it's all good" I say smiling "is Billie taking you home" I turn asking the girls

"No don't worry Grayson is coming to pick us up, I just thought you'd want to avoid his dad lectures. And Billie has been blowing up my phone all night" Emma says

Pulling out my own phone I see 7 missed calls and many texts from Billie starting from. 9:30
