Long ass author's note, cause my mind is an inferno that births new thoughts and refuses to let go of old ones: to start, I wish I had named the last chapter 9 + 10, but too late for that. secondly, out of EVERYTHING I could've been right about for the new episode, WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE GUMMIGOO BEING THE ANTAGONIST?! the teasers have shown that the new episode will be a lot different than what I've written- so I'll try my best to accommodate for that yknow yknow. thirdly, my hands smell like metal. lastly, I kinda wanna make a YouTube channel to post a bunch of random animatics/animations about this story, because my inspiration gives me motivation to do the oddest things- I have never made an animation before and I have also never had a YouTube channel before. send mental help 👍

Your eyes fluttered open, deep down hoping to see anyone you knew. Like Ragatha. You hoped you had company. But hope holds no power. Life was unfair. And together they decided that you were destined to be alone, trapped within the confines of your brain. Of your nightmares. As quickly as you had passed out, you awoke once again.

You felt off at the moment. You felt weak and helpless, yet also strong and powerful. There was no happy medium. No perfect balance. Your thoughts were scattered. While in the past you could have a whole conversation with yourself that lasted multiple paragraphs, each sentence seemed to be short and brief, with the next line of thought processes being unrelated. No, you weren't off. The world was. Something was wron-

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

You sat up straight on the floor of the cell, the wall still intact, and your friend nowhere to be seen. Just like a prisoner, you were alone, with nobody to rely on except yourself. Even the people you held closest in your heart had left you.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

You remember this... scenario, however. But different. You looked down upon your shaky hands, a little disturbed. The slight glitching wasn't what bothered you though; it was the deformed mass connected to your arm, with an unnatural amount of fingers in odd places. As if it was made by an artificial intelligence. This wasn't real, was it?

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

You've had this dream before. You knew it. But... you were in your room, resting in your bed. Your rest most definitely wasn't peaceful though. Had Jax come back to haunt you? Had you really not escaped him?

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

You had fended him off once, it would do no harm to do it again. You knew you had the willpower.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

You stood up, facing the door with your hands clenched by your side. You weren't scared anymore.

"...are you sure-..."

And now there were the voices too. Great. Maybe you were just as far gone as Kinger.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"...at first you don't realize followed by immediate..."

"Come on man! That doesn't even make sense!" you retaliated.

"...is all together in one place so it should be safe to take a..."

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"I CAN'T FOCUS ON BOTH OF THIS AT ONCE; TAKE IT EASY!" you yelled again.
