I saw myself visibility changing under your stars
I looked so beautiful in that red dressed late at night
Painted in the colour red from arms to legs
I looked pretty and wild and new
The red covered me like paint
Suddenly red surrounded me whole
Enclosing me in a sudden sense of mixed emotion I didn't knew I had
You sat beside me with a knife in your hand
I smiled though the tears but never complained
You stabbed me a million times and I apologised for the red stain on your shirt
I said I am fine and cried all by myself at night
You smiled and I cried but you never stayed
And I never left
