Second Chance

Faiths POV

The children start arriving, and they come in running to me and Miss Dolly they hug us, and we help them get out of their coats and hang them up. Tracy does not come. I'm not surprised by that. I hope she feels better soon. we start the morning off with some colouring in, and I cut some apples up into slices as a snack.

"Who wants some apple?" I say all there hands go up I walk around letting them pick the pieces they want, break time comes we help them get there coats hats scarfs and gloves on they go out to play with Miss Dolly I clean up inside then put my coat on and go outside.

"Miss miss," I squat down

"Yes, Jessica."

"Look," she opens her gloved hand. There is a tooth there she looks up to show where it came from

"Let's put it in a small bag for you to take home, then you can put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy." she takes my hand we go inside I find a small bag I put it in and we put it in her bag. As soon as we get back outside, she runs off with her friends. I look around, finding Miss Dolly looking at me smiling. I smile back.
We take the children back inside, helping with their coats and hats,scarves, and gloves we sit in the bean bag section.

"Tim it's your turn to pick a book" I say he jumps up looking through the books he comes back with the green dragon and hands it to me then he sits down "Are you all ready?"

"Yes Miss" I open the book and begin reading, the afternoon goes fast soon parents arriving to pick up there kids I see Jessica's mom and tell her about the tooth, when everyone is gone it's just me and Miss Dolly I start rushing to put things away.

"What's the hurry dear?"

"I need to get home early,"

"I'll do that, then you go,"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, go,"

"Thank you." I grab my coat and bag and then kiss her cheek. I pick up the pace on the way home. I get there in record time.
"Mom,dad I'm home I just going to get changed" I run up the stairs throwing my bedroom door open I start stripping going to the bathroom I have a quick shower keeping my hair dry, I'm in my underwear when mom comes in she has on a blue dress to the ankles on her hair is up.
"You look beautiful, mom,"

"Thank you honey now let's make you beautiful" she picks a white and red dress with a red cardigan and white shoes I get dressed and sit in front of the mirror mom does my hair a high bun with ringlets around my face I don't wear make up it makes my skin itch. I stand up and turn to my mom "beautiful"

"Thanks, mom." I kiss her cheek, and we walk downstairs. dad is there

"You both look beautiful," dad says

"Thanks dad" I kiss his cheek "let's get going" I don't bother taking a bag we make our way over to the field next to the pack house, when we get there the music is blaring people are dancing grinding on one another my parents make there way over to some of there friends I walk over to the table to grab a drink.
Picking up the orange juice, I pour myself a glass someone bumps into me. I ignore it

"Watch where your going fatty" I walk away "why the fuck are you here anyway your no wolf" I turn around

"I am here because it shows that I respect the Alpha why are you here?" I say

"What the fuck do you mean? why am I here? I am wolf" Emma screeches people have stopped to watch us I see my mom holding my dad back.

"What I mean Emma is that this is a party to show respect to our future Alpha respect being the key word" I say

"You walk around here like you belong when you don't I could kill you just like that" she snaps her fingers that's all it takes for my dad he breaks free of my moms hold and stands in front of me.

"Dad please remember why we are here" I say mom comes over as does Alex the beta Emma's dad they are looking at each other dad then walks away taking mom and me with him, I can't help but feel if I wasn't here this would not of happened, I stand with mom and dad there friends as well the tension is thick in the air.
Our current Alpha and Luna walk onto the stage    (Racheal and Justin)

"Welcome to the passing of the Alpha title as you know our son has been away looking for his mate Which  sadly has not happened we are sure he will find her soon your future Luna, please welcome back our son your Alpha Marcus. He walks onto the stage the girls go wild he walks up to his parents it looks like he keeps sniffing at something, the oath is read and blood exchanged "please stand and bow to your new Alpha" we all stand up and bow our heads.

"Have a seat Alpha Marcus says I sit down and look at the stage to see he has taken the mic. "It looks like traveling to find my mate was not needed as my mate is right here" there are gasps I look around seeing who it could be when I look back at the stage I see him looking at me "please join me on the stage" I look around me and then point to myself  "yes you" I get up and walk to the stage he pulls me up a bit roughly I might add I nearly trip but catch myself I hear some laughs I stand in front of him he takes my hands in his.

"I Marcus Blackwell of the blue blood pack reject you Faith Williams as my mate and future Luna" he stands there smiling at me "I mean come on fat,ugly stupid no wolf need I go on?" I smile brightly at him he losses his smirk I squeeze his hands

"I Faith Williams happily accept your rejection" I look him up and down I let go of his hands "I mean look at yourself rude, unworthy, ignorant, cocky sorry honey I'm looking for better I deserve better" I walk away from him my parents following me.

"Are you alright honey?" Mom asks

"I'm good" I smile at my mom.
