Second Chance

We are all sitting in the great hall. Now was the time to announce the joining of two packs. I stand on the stage  next to Adonis he walks to the mic.

"Evening everyone it's been a long day I know and I have one last thing to say before we all go to bed, since the arrival of the blue blood pack you all know a lot has happened with there Alpha giving up on them while dealing with this grief anyway I would like you all to know myself and your Luna have offered that they can join this pack we want to hear what you think" Adonis says

"Luna, how do you feel about this?" I step to the mic

"I really am ok with it a fresh start for all" I say more and more questions are asked we answer everyone in the end it is decided that the pack are happy with the decision to let them join, we say goodnight to everyone and head to bed. We have a shower and get into bed the day certainly didn't go as expected. I am knackered, closing  my eyes, and I soon fall asleep.
I wake up reaching for Adonis only to find he is not there. I sit up, looking around the room, getting out of bed, and I put my robe on. Going downstairs, he is not in the kitchen. I go to his office. There he is. I walk up and start massaging his shoulders

"What you doing?" I ask

"Just getting the papers ready for the new pack members and I have decided who will go with them to there land and collect there things" Adonis says he hands me a paper I look it over and see it is Adonis who will go

"Can I make one change?" I ask

"Of course," he says. I pick up a pen and cross his name off and put mine. I hand it back to him "no"

"Yes, Adonis," he shakes his head "look I'm going it will be for a day. That's all. Please let me do this," I say he sighs and then nods. I grab his hand, pulling him up. I walk us upstairs back to bed, and we get in. I snuggle up to him. "I love you, Adonis."

"I love you," he says.

We wake up a shower and dress. I dress in black leggings and a top we are going to do some training today. When we get downstairs, most of the packs are there.

"Good morning, Luna Alpha."

"Good morning, everyone." we sit down and have breakfast as we finish eating. The door opens, and Angel comes in she walks over to me "morning Angel you ok?" She nods her head." we are going to train now. Do you want to stay here and draw?" She shakes her head she grabs my hand and pulls me up. Adonis looks at me, and I shrug my shoulders. we walk down the hallway, and she stops and points at a picture. It's of a meadow it's beautiful. "You like this?" She nods she does sweeping motions with her hands."I'm sorry, I don't understand. " she looks sad

"I think she is trying to tell you she likes to paint," Adonis says. Angel stands there jumping up and down, clapping

"Do you have any paints?" She stops jumping and shakes her head

"Angel," Adonis says, "How about you go shopping with Alice and buy what you need, then you can paint and show us later?" she looks at Adonis and then smiles, nodding.
Angel and Alice have gone with a few pack members. we are in the training field now

"We will start off with pairs, and you will fight in human form. Get into pairs, please," Adonis says. As soon as the everyone is in pairs we watch as they start fighting I look around and notice people from my old pack are not as experienced as the members of our pack I watch as Emma gets knocked down but she keeps getting back up

"Stop" Adonis shouts everyone stops "form a circle" they do as he says "Emma Jessica please enter the circle" they do "now Emma I notice that when Jessica goes for your face you put both your hands up leaving your body open" she blushes "now let's try something new" he looks at me "baby can I borrow you?"

"Of course." I walk in the circle

"Now Emma I want you to watch for a moment, Jessica Faith please show how you were fighting with Emma" we do the same fight as they were doing "stop" we stop "now Emma do you see?"

"Yes," she says.

"Now let's try something else." he nods at me and Jessica we fight, but this time, instead of putting his hands up, I move out the way her hits miss, and I take her down. I stand up and help Jessica up

"Thank you, Luna." I smile at her

"Now Emma Jessica let's see it" Adonis says Emma steps in the circle at first Jessica throws her punches slow then builds up speed I have to say Emma is picking it up quick but Jessica lands her on her ass a few more times I can see Emma getting fed up I go to speak when Jessica beats me to it.

"Emma, don't let your emotions get in the way you can do this, and you will do this. This is why we train to get better to become stronger,"

"Thank you. I really appreciate that." Emma says they fight for a while longer, then Adonis stops them, we concentrate on others, helping them, we train for three hours, then all head back. Walking through the front door, I head straight for the shower. Adonis joins me. I feel so tired. I lean back against him, his strong arms around me. After the shower, we take a walk outside, walking through the pack land just as we enter the woods. I see Angel and Alice. We walk over. Angel turns to look at me

"Hi, you got what you need?" She nods her head

"Luna, I can tell you she has every art supply going," Alice says

"That's good to know" I say I take a look at what Angel is painting it's the trees "that's really good you know" she looks at me and places her hand on my cheek and swallows

"Thank you." her voice is faint. I place my hand over hers

"You're welcome," I say, tears in my eyes

"Angel," Adonis says, we both look at him."I have something I want to ask you, " she nods her head."Would you like to live with me and Faith?" I stare wide-eyed at him, then look at Angel she has tears in her eyes, then with her small raspy voice, she says something that has me in tears.
