Watching Marcus running into the woods, I can't help but think what will happen to his pack. This is bullshit

"Baby, you ok?" Adonis asks

"No, I'm not. How could he? How can you just abandon your pack? What are they going to do?" I say I lean on Adonis

"Do not worry baby there is a few ways it could work out," Adonis says

"Like?" I ask

"Well they could join our pack or see if Justin is certain he doesn't want the Alpha position back or I could reach out to other packs and see if they are willing to take them" Adonis says

"You would really let them join?" I ask

"Of course, like you said, they are not all bad, and as for shithead he will get what's coming to him," Adonis says

"I love you,"

"I love you too, baby. come let's head back, we have a lot to do. " we walk back our hands. Intwined. When we get back to the pack house, I see my mom and dad talking to their friends, looking around, I see Justin and Rachel we walk over

"Can we talk to you?" I ask

"Of course, Luna," Rachel says

"Let's go to the office" we all walk down the hall when we are seated in the office Adonis tells me to tell them " I'm sorry for what has happened and I  we don't wish to put any more stress on you. Justin, are you sure that you don't want to be Alpha again?" I ask

"No, I don't. I can honestly say that." Justin says

"In that case, we have decided that if you would all like to join this pack, we will talk to our pack. If it's not to much to ask would you like to ask your pack and if they don't want to stay here I'm sure we could call around the other packs and see if they will accept those who don't want to stay here" I say.

"You would let us stay here?" Rachel asks

"Of course," I smile

"What happens if we decide to stay? I mean our pack land, " Justin asks. I look at Adonis

"You would need to go back and collect whatever you need. You would have a lot of our pack members go with you so you would be safe. The land itself you could sell it and split the money between your pack members. Whatever you do with it is your choice, " Adonis says

"You're too kind," Rachel says. I get up and hug her. They leave the office and I sit down what a day and it's still not over Adonis takes my hand I smile at him after a while we go to the kitchen and get something to eat, mom and dad are there.

"Hello darling," mom says

"Hi mom dad" I hug them both then sit down and tuck into my sandwich I get lost in thought suddenly I feel a tug on my arm I turn to see Angel I smile and open my arms she walks into them I pick her up and put her on my lap.

"Hi Angel, you ok?" She nods."Have you eaten?" She nods."Did you eat it all?" She nods and smiles "well I think you deserve some ice cream. " she nods and claps her hands. I put her down and stand up. I hold my hand out, and she takes it.
We go to the fridge "Would you like chocolate?" She shakes her head "ok how about vanilla?" She nods and smiles. I take the vanilla out and put some. In a bowl, she takes the bowl and sits and sits at the table. I put the ice cream back in the fridge when I noticed that Justin and Adonis are coming my way.

"They have reached their decision," Adonis says. I nod we then go to the office again, taking our seats, and we give our attention to Justin.

"I talked to them, and they say they want to join your pack. I was surprised, really. I thought someone would be against me. I also told them about the pack land and they said it was very kind of you. The only other thing is they want to go back one last time to say goodbye and collect their things. I told them that you said that was possible. I hope I didn't say anything out of turn, " Justin says

"Not at all. Maybe in a few days that will happen, we will now talk to the pack. Why don't you go rest?" Adonis says

"One more thing, Luna Faith Emma would like to speak to you alone as what she wants, I do not know," Justin says

"Ok, please tell her to come see me here," I say he nods and leaves

"You sure?" Adonis asks

"Of course I am. I'll be fine?" I give him a gentle kiss. A knock at the door interrupts us

"I'll get it on my way out," Adonis says he gets up and opens the door to Emma

"Alpha," she bows her head

"Emma, come in. I'll leave you to it." he looks at me and then closes the door. I look at Emma

"You wanted to see me," I ask

"Yes, Luna," Emma says

"Come sit down and tell me what you want to tell me." I say she comes and sits down. I see her take a deep breath, and then she looks at me.

"I hated you because I was jealous of you. I picked on you to make myself feel better. I know it's no excuse for what I did," Emma says

"Why were you jealous?" I ask

"You had a mom and a dad. My mom died when I was two i don't even remember her. My father would not speak about her  he threw away all her pictures. Your mom and dad were always talking about you, so I'm proud of you. I wanted that, and I'll never have it. " Emma says

"Did you ever talk to your father?" I ask

"No, whenever I mention mom, he shouts or tells me to shut up," Emma says

"I'm sorry I never knew," I say

"It's not your fault and I'm the one that's sorry for what I did to you I wanted to talk to you try and put things right, you know the day that you left my father pushed me to Marcus saying that I would be a great Luna" Emma says

"You did not want to be Luna?" I ask

"No, and I didn't want Marcus either," Emma says

"Emma, are you saying?" I ask

"No, what happened between us? I consented to," Emma says

"I forgive you, but Emma, if you ever harm a pack member, I will personally deal with you," I say

"I understand. Would I be able to stay in the pack house? I don't want to live with my father anymore," Emma asks

"I can't see that being a problem," I say. "Is there anything else?" I ask

"Just one I would like to train to be a warrior. I never want to feel that helpless again," Emma says

"You will do training with everyone else, then I will up your training with the warriors. How about that?" I say
"Thank you, Luna," she bows and leaves.
