1 Month Later Lizzy POV I was in my chambers with Jane, Darcy, and the physician. I cannot believe that it is finally time to be rid if this chair the physician told me that I must take things slow in order to get back to full health. we are all currently in my chambers and Jane and Darcy are going to help me out of the chair and to stand for the first time in a month and i cannot wait I am so happy to finally be able to move freely once again. I took a deep breath and said "Okay, I'm ready." I extended my hands out towards Jane and Mr.Darcy and they came over to me each on either side of me Jane grabbed me left hand firmly in hers and Darcy grabbed my right hand in his and placed his left hand on my back to help support me. I started to get up out of the chair placing my weight on Jane and Mr. Darcy's hand and pulling myself up, Mr.Darcy used the hand that was placed on my back to keep me steady and to help me stand from the chair and I was extremely greatful for his help once i was finally in a standing position I felt like jumping for joy but then thought against it as i did not wish to return to the chair once again. once I was standing I slowly let go of Janes hand but still kept a firm Grip on Darcy's hand I was finally standing and it felt great I couldn't keep the smile off of my face I was no longer confined to the chair. I looked up at Darcy and smiled brightly, Mr. Darcy looked at me and smiled as well then leaned down and whispered in my ear "Well done my Lizzy, I knew you could do it. I Love You." my heart swelled at his words and I smiled at him. I then looked at the physician and asked "Now what must I do?" the physician looked to me and said "Why don't we try and take a few steps." I nodded and focused on taking a step but it wasn't working and I was starting to be afraid that I would have to stay in the chair for longer or worse forever then Mr. Darcy moved and took both of my hands and stood in front of me then said "Elizabeth look at me focus on me and only my voice just listen to me and focus on me" I looked at him and did exactly that I looked into his eyes and focused on his voice I didn't realize that he had let go of my hands but kept them right next to mine or that he was slowly walking a couple steps and I was following him. "Elizabeth look" Mr. Darcy said I looked around and saw that I had taken a couple steps away from where I had been standing by the wheel chair I smiled up at Darcy then at the rest of the people in the room then the Physician said "Why don't we try with Mr. Darcy on the other side of the room and you walk to him?" Darcy went to the other side of the room and looked at me with a look in his eyes that told me I could do this and that if I started to fall he would be there to catch me so I took a step and wobbled a little I looked down but then Darcy said "Elizabeth look at me" I looked at him and he said "Walk to me Elizabeth, you can do it. Walk to me right here I promise I won't let you fall I will never let you fall" After I heard those words I started to walk to Darcy, my William, I also heard the double meaning in the words that told me that he would always be there beside me no matter what happens now or in the future he would always be there with me. I walked across the room the entire time my eyes never left Darcy's when I reached him he pulled me into his strong arms and said " you did I knew you could my strong, brave Elizabeth." I turned to the doctor still holding on to Darcy's arms for support and the doctor said "Well done Elizabeth now as long as you do not over exert yourself and slowly increase the distance you walk each day and never over do anything than you should be back to 100% in no time at all, but I must warn you that you may have a slight limp but that is all now I shall leave you to celebrate with your friends ands and family" After saying goodbye he left and I turned to face Darcy and before I could say anything to him he kissed me

when he pulled away he said "Congratulations my love I knew you could do it." "Thank you" Then Jane and Bingley said congratulations after that we all sat in the lounge area by the fireplace in the room and took our dinner in there instead of with everyone else in the estate and spent the rest of the evening laughing and being completely relaxed and I loved the feeling and couldn't wait for more days being spent exactly like this one.
