"Wait, so you two didn't cancel today's lesson? Even on Christmas?" Hoseok asks, a little baffled.

Yoongi just shrugs whereas Jimin is smiling brightly. "Well, hyung, playing the piano today makes the day even better."

They're all at Namjoon's house for exchanging presents and such for the happy occasion. Even if they're supposed to be having fun and laughing, Jungkook and Taehyung are soundly napping on the couch, cuddled up against each other. On the other hand, Jin and Namjoon said they'd go sleep in a bed. Namjoon's parents weren't in town for Christmas, so Jin, after a morning with his family, had spent the whole day with the man so they're probably tired by now.

"I haven't been to yours in so long, can I come along?" Hoseok suddenly asks, eyes twinkling with hope. Before Yoongi can protest, he quickly adds, "I won't disturb your lessons, I promise. I won't even enter the room. I want to help around the house."

"Sure! We can all have dinner together," Jimin says excitedly. "It's really been a while..."

"Yeah... But, I have to wake these two up and send them off, wake either of the married couple up and make him lock the door, and pick something up so I'll come a bit later." Hoseok sighs, shaking his head at all the things he has to do.

"Alright," Jimin says, laughing a little. "We'll get going, then."

"See you both there~"

"Admit it, hyung, you're a total softie. You said you wouldn't buy Jin hyung a present for today, but you did! And even when you said you gave a mix of Taehyung's birthday present today too, I bet you've already bought him his actual present!" Jimin accuses, tone playful and giggly.

Yoongi just shrugs, acting like everything Jimin said isn't true. "I don't know what you're talking about." Jimin just shakes his head, soft chortles still escaping.

When the two arrive at Jimin's doorstep, the younger gets out his keys, opening the door as he checks the time - five-thirty.

But before he can properly react, he hears voices in the kitchen, "Is that Jimin? I haven't seen him in so long–" the voice sounding so familiar, Jimin freezes, heart stropping for a second.

"Jiminie~! I missed you!" Just as he'd anticipated, Jimin's father emerges, holding out his arms as he walks up to his son with an almost identical smile. Pulling Jimin into a warm hug, he sways from side to side, clearly have missed him.

"Don't," Jiyun tries to interrupt, voice loud and protesting, "Make a better impression, his boyfriend's with him!"

Both flush at Jiyun's words, Jimin replying in a flustered mumble, "He's not my boyfriend..."

Pulling away, Jimin's father looks behind Jimin's shoulder, eyes landing on Yoongi, who looks like he's still processing everything.

With a grin, his father's first words to Yoongi are said, "So you're my other future son-in-law?"

This makes Jimin push him gently, silently asking him to stop as his face is completely pink. Yoongi is the same, eyes shying to the floor.

"Actually, they aren't dating– right, Jimin?" His sister asks, to which Jimin weakly nods to. Turning back to her father, she nods, "Yeah, they aren't dating."

Jimin's dad then pouts, a little strange sight of a man of his age, but it's cute nonetheless. Curiously, he asks, "So, young man, why have you decided to interrupt our family Christmas evening?"

Yoongi splutters, not expecting that, eyes shooting up to meet Jimin's father's (who Jimin is trying to push back towards the kitchen but failing almost funnily). "I... I teach Jimin piano." He says, using polite speech.

"Yeah," Jimin says firmly, huffing at his father as he turns to Yoongi instead. "Which we should be starting now. Let's go, hyung."

With that, Jimin grabs Yoongi's hand and pulls the flabbergasted man along into the music room, leaving the father and daughter at the entranceway.

"Also, Hoseok hyung is coming over for dinner too, tell Mom to make an extra portion." Those were the last words heard from Jimin before the music room doors shut.

The two outside just stare at it for a few seconds, Jimin's father now making an interested and thoughtful expression before opening his mouth to speak.

"Are you sure they aren't dating?"
