you were grey dust cascading a silhouette i had never seen of you before. your eyes were coated black, coal like pupils filling the empty stars you promised you would one day give to me. you dug your nails until they punctured your skin, a stream of crimson dripped down your bare ankles. you fell to your knees, you screamed until your voice gave out. you created a river between the white tiles of your bathroom floor.
