Chapter 8

Lilliana's POV

"U r my damn neighbor?!" I yelled.

No. Hell no. The bad boy of the century is NOT living next door. Well, that explains the loud music coming from next door. But still, he's my neighbor! He smirked & walked towards me.

"I'm not just your damn neighbor, princess. I'm your so damn sexy, awesome, handsome, charming, sex goddess & did I mention sexy?" He whispered in my ear.

"Yeah, u did." I rolled my eyes. He seriously has a huge ego.

He smirked & kiss my cheek. He kissed my cheek! My crush kiss my cheek! Cool down your ass, Lily. "See u tomorrow, princess." I can't help but smile. "I guess." I waved him goodbye & went into my house.

"Hey sis! Get ready. Mom's boss invited us to dinners!" Lucas said while jumping up & down. "Hey Luc. Okay, I'll get ready. Where's mom?" He pointed to the kitchen. I nodded & walked towards my mom. "Hey mom. So... Your boss is coming?" I asked my mom while I took an apple from the fruit basket & took a nibble.

"Yes. So please dress something formal. We're going to a high-class hotel to meet them." My mom begged me. I kissed her cheek. "Anything for u, mom." It's been a couple of years since my dad died. Before he left, I've promised him that I'll follow what my mom says. When my dad died, Lucas was just 8 years old. But now, our lives has become better than ever because my dad is rich before he died.

I ran upstairs & took a quick but refreshing shower. Then, I walked into my closet & pick which dress should I wear since it's formal & high-class. I picked a red strapless dress which is floor-length. I pick a pair of matching stilettos. After getting ready, I went downstairs. My lil bro was wearing a suit, which is pretty cute.

"Let's go!" Lucas exclaimed. I brushed his hair & walked outside the door. "U wanna follow me or mummy, Lucas?" I asked my 10 year old brother. "I'll follow u, Lily!" He said. My mom gave me a take-care-of-him-or-I'll-kill-u look. I simply nodded, knowing nothing will go wrong.

Currently, we're waiting for our VIPs. "R they late?" I asked my mom. She shook her head. I guess I'll be dying of boredom.

"Hi Ms Lambert. I'm sorry we're late." Some guy in his 40's greeted my mom. "It's ok, Mr Spencer. U r my boss so it's ok." My mom assured him. Wait, Mr Spencer? I looked behind him & just saw a lady in her 30's standing behind him. There was no girl or boy with them so I'm saved!

"U must be Lilliana." Ms Spencer smiled as she examined my features & outfit. "Hello Ms Spencer." I greeted her politely. "Please have a seat, Mr & Ms Spencer." I said as I pointed them to the seats. "Please, call me Sofia. Calling me Ms Spencer makes me feel like a cranky old granny." I mentally rolled my eyes. "Will do, Sofia." I smiled.

Suddenly, I saw some guy running like he was late to school or something. But then, the guy walked towards us. Wait... Wait... Wait. Isn't that...

Ashton?

"Sorry I'm late dad, Sofia." He apologized. It's awkward that he called his mother by her name. Then, his eyes met mine. "Lilliana?"

Shit. I'm going to have dinner with my mom's boss' son. Which has to be Ashton.
