As Minho had shut the door closed, he swiftly ran downstairs. "Jihna? What are you doing here?" he asked her when his breathing had steadied again since he didn't want to sound like he had been running.

Jihna flinched as she was surprised by Minho's sudden appearance. "I just thought I would come by and we could watch a movie together or something?" she asked him, walking towards him and endearingly playing with the collar of his shirt.

"I would love to, but I'm actually doing homework right now so I can't," he said as he pointed at the books laying around.

She snorted as she thought Minho was just cracking a joke, yet the expression on his face didn't look as if he was joking. She stopped laughing and faced him with a questioning expression. "Wait... Since when do you do your homework?" Never had she ever seen him do homework or study, so this was kind of surprising to her.

Minho actually always does his homework. He even hands it in on time, just no one ever saw if he filled in the papers or not. He also never shared his grades. Some of his friends think he was just an average student when in reality he was one of the top students. He just didn't want anyone to know that since he thought all smart people were considered nerds, and he didn't want to be known as one.

He scratched the back of his head as he didn't exactly know what to say. "Oh," He got an idea for an excuse, which wasn't really a lie. "Professor Choi gave us homework and I need to pass it if I don't want to receive more of his nagging, and I don't so that's why I'm doing homework right now,"

"Oh, I understand that! His nagging is the worst," she retorted as she rolled her eyes and groaned. "Anyway, I can help if you want to,"

Minho let out a slight chuckle. "Are you good at maths?" He didn't actually know if she was or not. She never really tried in that class, the highest grades she got were always around sixty percent.

"Nope, not at all," she murmured as they started laughing.

A few minutes later, Minho walked her towards the front door and told her goodnight. Yet, before she left she asked him something. She had been wondering this ever since she walked in. "Minho...Why were there two cans of soda on your table?"

Minho felt cautious at first but he eventually came up with something natural. "Oh, that... I'm just too lazy to walk to the kitchen plural times," he snorted softly.

"Makes sense," She laughed at him, nudging his shoulder softly. A smile was plastered onto her face, she was just so happy to be with Minho. She moved forward and gave him a quick peck on his cheek. Then she turned around and walked towards her car, waving cutely at Minho still.

He waved her goodbye and slowly closed the door. He leaned his back against it as he had closed it and let out a big sigh of relief.

He then walked upstairs again. He was glad that Jisung didn't ruin it. The boy had actually listened to him and stayed put inside of the room.

~~~~~~~~~~
Jisung had been stuck in that small dark room for what seemed like forever. Tears started welling up, he couldn't keep them in any longer. His heart began to race rapidly and his breathing increased as well. He felt his heart clench against his chest and he started feeling drowsy. He crouched down and brought his knees up to his chest, holding them tightly.
Only half a minute later, Minho came walking inside. He looked around the room but didn't see the boy anywhere. Yet, he did hear him. He heard sobbing. He swiftly turned on the lights to then see Jisung sitting on the floor while crying and panting extremely rapid—hyperventilating.
He crouched down on height with the boy, but he didn't know what to do. He didn't know what was happening. "Jisung, calm down! Breathe," he said, concerned for the boy. "Breathe in and breathe out, slowly," he adviced and so Jisung tried, but it didn't seem to help much as he kept on sobbing and sobbing.
Minho then did something he might regret later on. He grabbed the boy and wrapped his arms around him tightly. With one hand he caressed Jisung's hair, reassuring him that everything was going to be fine.
As Jisung's breathing was slowly steadying down, Minho released his grip around him. "Are you okay?" he questioned sincerely to which the boy just nodded to. It was as if he lost his voice.
He let go of Jisung completely to then reach up his hands and place them onto the latter's cheekbones. He wiped away the boy's tears, to which Jisung's heart skipped a beat—but he didn't question it and just let it go.
Minho took ahold of his hands and pulled him upright, gently leading him downstairs again. As they had walked into the kitchen, Minho told Jisung to sit down for a minute. He poured him a glass of water and handed it to him, for which the boy thanked him.
Jisung took a sip of water and put the glass down onto the table. Minho still had that concerned expression plastered on his face. "Are you feeling better?" he asked Jisung, worrying for the boy.
"Y-yeah, thank you," the latter said softly, a shiver heard in his throat. He didn't look Minho into his eyes, he kept staring down at the table.
Minho couldn't help but wonder. "What happened back there?" He knew it wasn't any of his business. Still, he couldn't help but let his curiosity slip out. The interest he had in the boy just grew wider as time passed—but he wouldn't admit to that.
"I—" He cleared his throat and took a sip of water. "I had a... panic attack." He took a deep breath. "Ever since I was young I get panic attacks whenever I'm feeling scared or anxious. And as embarrassing as it might sound, I'm extremely afraid of small dark spaces... I don't handle those well," he informed.
A sympathetic smile grew onto Minho's face, he almost forgot about the fact that they weren't exactly friends—anymore. Two individuals who disliked one another had told each other something that now only the two of them knew, no one else had any idea.
Jisung had told Minho about his panic attacks, and Minho had told Jisung about his mother. Of course, Minho's friends noticed his mother's absence, but he had never told them if she had moved out or passed away...
"I'm sorry if I caused any trouble! We should get back to the tutoring, it's getting pretty late," Jisung spoke as he suddenly got up and obviously faked a smile.
Minho's smile also slowly faded. Why was he feeling so bad for someone he didn't even like? "Sure!" he murmured and followed Jisung back towards the living room.
~~~~~~~~~~

"... Did you get that?" Jisung asked. He was still trying to explain their maths homework and it seemed as if Minho began to understand it. He made the other exercises in half the time he had spent on the previous ones — so that was a good sign.

Minho was overjoyed that he was finally getting it. "Yes! Thank you so much, Jisung! I owe you one," That last bit slipped out of his mouth without him thinking. He just hoped Jisung wouldn't take it seriously.

"You owe me big, especially since this is only your first tutor lesson," he spoke with an extra hint of sass. He knew he'd have to tutor Minho more than this because this was just a fraction of what he had to teach him.

"So... What do you want?" Minho asked the boy who was cutely sitting in front of him. "What do I owe you?" he questioned, raising his eyebrows slightly.

"You'll know when time comes," Jisung murmured softly as a grin grew on his face, teasing the other. It was as if he was planning something, when in reality he wasn't. He just wanted to make it seem as if he was.
