Misha reached home at eight p.m. after Zoya dropped her off. Zoya sat with Misha's mom for a while before leaving for her own place. They had already dropped off Rubab before coming to her place. Once Zoya was gone, Misha trudged to her bedroom and fell back on her bed reminiscing about everything that had happened today.

It was the start of her summer break before College starts in September. She was officially done with Olevels. She felt overwhelmed. She had been studying in that school for over thirteen years and now all of her friends were going to different places to study for their future fields. She was about to go down memory lane when she remembered that she had to text Ibraheem about getting home safe.

She was about to open her laptop when she remembered that she now had his number. Carefully she grabbed her phone and went through the call log, looking at the unsaved number. She needed to save it somehow. After thinking on it for over twenty minutes, she concluded that she was going to save it with a girl's name.

Hiba. That is what she was going to save Ibraheem's number as. Hiba was the only girl besides Rubab in her class that didn't have a number so somehow Misha thought it would make sense if she saved it like that. It just sounded like a safer option incase her brothers ever ask.

And then started Misha's overthinking on what text to send to Ibraheem. Although she had already talked to him on the messenger many times but for some reason texting him on his number seemed so much more intimate and personal. She pondered on what to send him. I am home? I got home safely? Just got home? What did it matter anyway, so she sent the first text that came to her mind.

I just got home safely. And then Misha face palmed. That didn't even make sense. How awkward can you get, Misha Yousaf? She then sent another text because getting embarrassed once just wasn't enough.

P.s I saved your name as Hiba, so act like a Hiba. What was that even supposed to mean? Act like a Hiba? How stupid and embarrassing. Misha then waited for a reply.

Ibraheem had just gotten dressed for the party and was about to leave when his phone buzzed.

A smile made its way on his face as he read Misha's awkward texts. So adorable, he thought as he typed a reply.

How do you act like a Hiba? He sent the message as he sat in the BMV with Fahad on the driving seat while Kamran took the cruiser with the guards. It was nine a.m. now and the party was going to start pretty soon and continue till the sun rises. That was just how their parties went.

"You are smirking. Talking to bhabhi?" Fahad questioned as he reversed the car. Ibraheem nodded while keeping his eyes glued on the phone. His phone then buzzed and he swiped up to read her text.

Well, for starters, how about not carrying a gun around? Hiba is a good HARMLESS girl. Ibraheem could imagine Misha saying that to his face and chuckled.

Hiba won't be safe if she doesn't carry a gun around. Hiba needs to stay alive. Misha got Ibraheem's reply and giggled. It was funny of him to talk like that. She then realized how hard it must be for him to continuously be on alert incase potential enemies of his father tried to hurt him.

It must be hard to constantly be on alert. I feel bad for you. The message warmed Ibraheem's heart. It was weird for someone who didn't even know him properly to feel pity for him. She really was different. None of the girls from his past would give a shit if he carried a gun for his safety.

Don't. It has its perks. The pros override the cons. And he meant it. Being a politician's son was a pretty cool deal.

If you say so, stay safe though. Misha said unsure.

Is that genuine concern I see? I thought you would want me to drop dead or something for ruining the peace of your life like that. Ibraheem joked as he noticed that they were closing in on the party venue.

I wouldn't wish that for you. Plus, I have gotten used to it now so it's fine I guess. And Misha meant it. She could never want someone to die. It was too cruel and for some reason, despite everything that he had done, she really didn't want to imagine an injured or worse, dead Ibraheem.

You are really cute, you know that? Also, Rejoice. I am letting you off easy tonight because I am going to a party. Misha blushed at his message and then read the last part. There he goes again, doing haram things but that is his life, so she didn't have a right to say anything about that.

Yay, I guess. Oh and one other thing before I go. She suddenly remembered what he had done a few hours ago.

Yeah? Ibraheem questioned as Fahad turned the car into the lane Mayra's house was in where there was already music blasting till outside.

I got your apology. In that moment, Ibraheem felt something weird happen in his stomach. There was this fluttery feeling that he couldn't explain. He had been thinking about it ever since he had mouthed it to her back then.

And do you accept it? He was genuinely curious. He wasn't the type of guy to apologize to anyone for anything.

Maybe. He smirked at her reply. Was she trying to act smart with me?

Shall I come to your house and yell out another one so you are sure? Ibraheem didn't meant it but he knew it would get a reaction out of her because she didn't know his intentions.

NO! NO! I AM SURE! I accept your apology so don't do that. Please. Ibraheem laughed out loud as Fahad finally parked the car along with all the other expensive cars parked in Mayra's garage. Fahad gave Ibraheem a questioning look before rolling his eyes when he noticed that he had gotten a text from Bhabhi.

Relax. I won't. Probably. Anyway, I am heading out now. Sleep tight, Misha. Ibraheem texted quickly as he got out of the car.

You too. Sleep tight. Misha panicked when she realized what she had sent. So embarrassing tauba.

I mean, have fun. She then rethought her reply.

No wait, that is wrong. She sent again.

Just take care of yourself. Don't send me a message after this because I am putting my phone on charging and sleeping. ALLAH HAFIZ! By now, Ibraheem was laughing genuinely at her clumsiness as he turned off his phone's screen and put it in his pocket. Misha was flushed red as she hid her face in embarrassment. Why did she had to say all that? Oh well, what is done is done.

With that, Misha cleaned up, changed into pajamas and got into bed while Ibraheem joined the party.

.....

Misha's phone was buzzing beside her head, on the side table. She groaned as she got up and rubbed her eyes. What time was it? From the curtains, she could tell that it was still night. She looked at the clock and noticed that it was 2 in the morning? WHAT THE HELL? Who was calling her this late? She picked up her phone immediately and looked at the caller id.

Hiba is calling.

Author's note:

Ooooh. Misha is in deep shit now. What do you think is going to happen now?

Here is a hint: A drunk Ibraheem is a very, very bad and perhaps even hilarious Ibraheem.

Also, I have edited the last chapter and added the characters for Zoya and Rubab. Do comment down below on what you think about them.

Also, regarding the two questions I got regarding this book.

The answers are:

Yes, Ibraheem is going to be confessing soon, keep reading to find out how and when he does it though.

Secondly, this story will actually be divided into two parts as in two entire books (both covering Misha and Ibraheem's love story) I am planning and hoping to complete TMD at like forty something chapters but I am not sure about the exact chapters yet, it could go to fifty as well so no promises on that.

Hope this helps.

Enjoy and Peace out!
