"he loves me."
my fingernails sever another petal from the dead flower, long since withered in its hidden patch behind the workshop.
"he loves me a lot."
another petal falls to the ground, near my sandals. it tickles my toes--tickles my heart!
"he loves me."
oh, i know he does.
he told me so this morning before he left to meet with george. i'm a bit nervous, thinking about what taehyung is doing right now with the man. but i have complete confidence in him. he'll do a fine job at pretending like he's interested in taking george's wife in as a project.
"he loves me more!"
the brown petal crumbles in my palm. i think taehyung will love me more when the adversias and emily are finally dead like this flower. then they won't bother us anymore.

and i love him. that's why, i'm out here, collecting more valerian while i think of a plan for their murder. i know i need to do more research than i have already, find out more about george's military past.
taehyung and i are going to try and stage a murder-suicide. i can already hear the news anchor lady droning on the late night television.
tonight we have some grim news. late last night, one of lake george's well-known philanthropists and avid golfers has committed a murder andtook his life soon after.

george adversia, an undiagnosed ptsd sufferer from his time serving in the military, stabbed his wife to death before slitting his own throat. a note was found at the scene detailing the mistrust in his relationship and his distaste with wealth.

i'm so excited to write the suicide note. taehyung has already given me george's threatening note from before, and every chance i get i practice copying george's handwriting. i'm getting awfully good at it, too.
