Chapter 7

Chunin exams

"Hinata, we were looking for you!" said Naruto.

"Naruto-kun?"

"We need to get to know the other competitors," said Sasuke. They entered the hall.

"Something seems wrong," said Sasuke.

"What?"

"I have a weird feeling."

"I'll explore it with my Byakugan." Sasuke nodded.

"Your chakra … It is disturbed."

"I knew it! Kai!" Naruto had no idea what it was all about.

"K-kai." Hinata let her chakra flow into him.

"Thanks, Hinata!"

"God, you are always so lost."

"What did you say??!"

"Nothing, you idiot." Naruto grinned at him.

"P-please, don't argue…" When they were at the door, they met unknown genins. For some reason, Hinata was terrified.

"Oi, Hinata, are you okay?"

"Hinata-sama, heeh," Neji smirked.

"You know him? Hinata?"

"Neji-nii-san." Sasuke stepped in front of Hinata.

"Let's go or we won't make it." Hinata was paralyzed from Neji's expression.

"Naruto, calm Hinata down." Naruto was still confused.

"Do it." Naruto nodded. Then he touched Hinata’s shoulder.

"Are you all right, Hinata?" Hinata returned to reality.

"His touch is so calming," thought Hinata.

"I-I’m all right, you don't have to worry about me."

"Good!" Naruto smiled at her.

"Let’s go," said Sasuke. They wanted to open the door.

"Wait, are you Sasuke-kun?" asked Lee.

"Huh? Why do you care?"

"Well, I fell in love with Sakura-san, but she’s interested in you which makes us love rivals!"

"You too, Geji mayu?!"

"I'm not interested in this, let's go!"

"Konoha senppuu!" Sasuke fell on the ground.

"I would like to compete with you and also find out if you are worthy of Sakura-san's love."

"I don't understand you, but I accept the challenge."

"Hey Sasuke, we'll be late!"

"Heh, I'll be done in five seconds." They moved to another room and Sasuke began to attack. Lee uncovered all his attacks and then he kicked him against the wall.

"I'm not done yet! Sharingan!" That’s right, Sasuke awakened his Sharingan in their last mission.

"So this is the dreaded Kekkei genkai of the Uchiha." Sasuke copied his moves.

"Shishi rendan!" Lee dodged it.

"Good job copying my attacks, but ... Konoha senppuu!"

"The same attack he used on me before!" Lee kicked his chain and Sasuke ended up with broken nose. Suddenly smoke appeared.

"What is it?!"

"I-I'll look." Hinata saw a man dressed like Rock Lee.

"Lee! What did I tell you about fighting before the Chunin exams?!"
