Junhui couldn't shake off the worry gnawing at him. He knew Minghao's health was fragile, and seeing him suffer like this tugged at his heartstrings. Despite Minghao's insistence not to call Jeoghan, Junhui couldn't ignore the signs of distress of Minghao.

In the dimly lit room, Junhui's heart sank as he watched Minghao shiver under the blanket. Without a second thought, he abandoned his own bed and slipped under the covers beside Ming, determined to offer whatever comfort he could.

Minghao stirred at the sensation of someone joining him, his eyes fluttering open in confusion. "Jun?" he whispered hoarsely, his voice barely audible over the sound of the rain.

Junhui offered a reassuring smile, tucking the blanket around them both. "I'm here," he replied softly, his voice a gentle murmur in the stillness of the night. "Let me help you."

"You're so cold," Junhui murmured, his breath brushing against Minghao's ear. "Let me warm you up."

Minghao's eyes fluttered, surprised by Junhui's words but too weak to protest. He leaned into the embrace, seeking solace in Junhui's comforting presence.

Junhui held Minghao close, his own body radiating warmth as he enveloped ming in a cocoon of care. Inch by inch, Minghao began to relax, the tension melting away as Junhui's soothing presence lulled him into a peaceful slumber.

With a grateful sigh, Minghao nestled closer to Junhui, seeking refuge in his warmth. Despite his fevered state, a sense of calm washed over him as he felt Junhui's steady heartbeat beneath his fingertips.

In that moment, as the rain continued to patter against the windowpane, Minghao knew he wasn't alone. With Junhui by his side, he could weather any storm that came his way. And as they lay together, cocooned in each other's embrace, Minghao allowed himself to drift into a peaceful sleep, knowing that he was safe and loved.

NEXT MORNING ,

As the morning light gently seeped into the room, Minghao's sudden burst of energy seemed almost out of place. Junhui, still bleary-eyed from sleep, couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern as he observed Minghao's brisk movements.

"Hey, slow down there, Minghao," Junhui's voice carried a hint of apprehension as he sat up in bed, his gaze fixed on Minghao. "You're not exactly in top shape after last night.

Minghao paused in his tracks, his movements momentarily faltering before he regained his composure with a sly grin. "Oh, don't worry about me, Hyung," he quipped, his tone laced with playful nonchalance. "I'm tougher than I look."

Junhui's expression softened, though a flicker of doubt lingered in his eyes. "I know you're resilient, Minghao," he said, his voice gentle yet insistent. "But you shouldn't push yourself too hard. Take it easy today."

Minghao's smile wavered for a moment, a fleeting glimpse of vulnerability slipping through his confident facade. "Thanks, Jun," he murmured, his tone subdued as he turned away, busying himself with his morning routine.

Junhui watched Minghao with a mixture of concern and curiosity, sensing that there was more to his friend's sudden burst of energy than met the eye. But as Minghao continued to act normal, Junhui couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment, wondering if Minghao was deliberately avoiding opening up to him.
