~To The Story~

You sat in your proper seat, inside of your classroom, waiting patiently for your teacher to play the movie. The large projector screen sitting in front of you and your classmates, wide enough for everyone to see.

"All right, now where are the subtitles...?" Your teacher murmured to himself.

You knew he was looking for the subtitles for you, so you can follow along. Even without looking at your classmates, you can tell that some of them didn't seem too fond of having to deal with the subtitles. You are aware that some who can perfectly hear, find the words being shown at the bottom of the screen a distraction.

You didn't look at anyone and just waited, hoping your teacher would figure out how to put on the subtitles. Who cares what your classmates thought? They should just suck it up.

Oh well, this school isn't the greatest so you don't expect the kids to be to class as well. You being in this school is only temporary anyway so you try to tolerate it.

"Sensei, can't (y/n)-san just sit closer to the speaker and turn up the volume?"

What they don't know is that that won't help one bit. Just because the sound would be closer to your ear, that doesn't mean the sound would be clear as day, no. If you were to sit closer to the speaker, everything would sound muffled, and unpleasant to your ears and you would end up not understanding anything as well.

Luckily, the teacher didn't have to answer his question. "Oh found it."

With that being done, the movie started playing. Your eyes focusing on the visuals and reading the subtitle.

Nagisa

Me and my friends are already inside the arcade.

You walked inside the arcade while holding your phone in your hand with Nagisa's text message open. You stood there for a moment, trying to see if you can spot Nagisa anywhere. From where you are, he wasn't around. The only things your eyes caught were the other boys and girls around, playing their games and not minding you.

Early today, Nagisa invited you to go to the arcade today after school. Wanting to spend time with Nagisa as much as you can, you happily agree. Your friend also informed you that three of his female classmates wanted to meet you. You didn't mind and were actually excited to meet more of Nagisa's friends.

You

Hey, I'm here :)

You figured that you'll find Nagisa if you walked further into the arcade. So you did. You walked past the kids playing and the colourful arcade machines, all while keeping a lookout. Walking a bit further, you spotted the blue hair boy coming through the crowd.

"Ah, (y/n)." Nagisa smiled then walked over to you. You smile with a wave. "I was looking for you. I hope you didn't get lost." He signed.

You shook your head, before signing with the phone still in your hand. "I just got here. Are your other friends here?"

"Yeah." Nagisa nodded. "They're at the back." Nagisa signed, before pointing in a certain direction at the back.

You and your friend began heading towards the back to find Nagisa's friends.

"I haven't been in an arcade since I was 13." You signed, eyeing around at all the games. "I'm probably pretty rusty at best."

"Don't worry about it." Nagisa signed reassuringly. "I'm sure you'll have fun anyway."
