I get up off Chris.

y/n: "Why aren't you saying anything?"

Chris: "What is there to say, I don't know who the fuck Lucas is."

y/n: "Oh right I never told you, his name. It's um- my ex."

Chris: "Oh my god the one the um- that used to- um you know hit- I'll just shut up."

I laugh.

Even though I was scared Chris still found a way to make me laugh.

She hands me her phone to read the message.

Hey, it's Lucas. I got out of jail. I just wanted to say sorry for the things
that I did before I went to jail. I've changed and I want

Chris: "What the fuck!"

y/n: "I know right! Idiot really thinks I'm going to forgive him that easily."

I sigh.

y/n: "I got a new phone, so I have no idea how he got my number."

Chris: "Well before you moved here did your friends know your number?"

y/n: "Yeah."

Chris: "Well he probably asked your friends."

y/n: "Yeah, you're right, but what if he somehow gets my address!!!"

Chris: "Does any of your friends know where you live?"

y/n: "No I just told them I was moving. They never asked where."

Chris: "Do you have locations on?"

y/n: "Never."

Chris: "Then no need to worry!"

y/n: "Yeah, but the thought of him being out of jail is terrifying."

Chris: "If he does somehow find where you live, you got us."

y/n: "Who's us."

Chris: "Me and my brothers!! Not to flex or anything, but I've been working out at the gym! I could easily knock out that bitch."

She laughs.

y/n: "Thanks Chris! I think I'm gonna go home and tell my parents about this."

Chris: "Okay."

She gets up...

Chris: "Wait!"

y/n: "Yeah?"

Chris: "The um- the nightmares?"

y/n: "Oh right I haven't been getting them. I guess I was so concentrated on getting back at Alyssa that I haven't gotten them."

Chris: "Oh that's good."

y/n: "Well I hope they don't come back now that Lucas is out of jail."

Chris: "Well if they do come back, you can always spend the night with me!"
