Nick: "Oh my god this is the best part of the movie! The main character is going to-"
Matt: "Nick stop spoiling it for us! Why pick a movie you already watched like 20 times?"
Nick: "Because it's GOOD!"
Chris and y/n have been quiet for a while.
I turn to see what Chris and y/n are doing.
Nick: "OMG! Look Matt lookie!!!"
I whisper.
Matt: "What?"
Nick: "y/n and Chris fell asleep on each other isn't this so cute!"
Oh, shit I gotta take a picture of this!!!
Matt: "Uh sure, whatever."
Nick: "Dude what's up with you?"
I say to Matt still whispering so I don't wake up y/n and Chris.
Matt: "What do you mean?"
Nick: "I mean ever since y/n and Chris became a thing you don't seem happy for them."

I woke up.

I get up off Chris.

y/n: "It was amazing! You have no idea!!"
Mom: "You know the drill! Every detail!!!"
y/n: "Okay so we ate then went home and Chris asked me out on a date...."

y/n: "Of course I said yes and then we watched a movie."

Mom: "Thats it? That can't be it!"
y/n: "Okay, me and Chris may or may not have fallen asleep cuddling."
Mom: "Oh my god!"

I pulled out my phone and saw a text from Nick...
I smile.
Mom: "What! What is it!? Is it Chris!?"
y/n: "No, it's Nick."
I gave my phone to my mom...

I went up to my room and plopped down on my bed scrolling on my phone when I got a message...

"My mom told me about the time you shit on the highway in a Dunkin Donuts bag!"

"HAHAHA!"

Chris:
"Well, my mom told me when you were three you used to kiss the tv when
watching Go, Diego, Go!"

"Okay, but I was three! I also had a crush on boots."

Chris:
"THE MONKEY!?! HAHAHA!"

"I WAS THREE!"

We ended up texting for a while before finally going to sleep.

7:00 am
I woke up to my mom jumping on my bed...
y/n: "Mom? What are you doing?"
Mom: "Today is the DAY!"
y/n: "What?"
Mom: "Your date! WE NEED TO GET A DRESS! The mall doesn't open in an hour though."
y/n: "MOM IT'S 7 IN THE MORNING? WTF!!"
Mom: "I couldn't sleep last night I was so excited! Anyways come eat breakfast!"

I wake up making my way to the kitchen.
Nick: "Morning."
Chris: "We gotta go shopping!"
Nick: "Woah, calm down."
Chris: "RIGHT NOW!!!"

Chris: "I- um...I need a suit."
Nick: "OH SHIT DON'T TELL ME-"

I got dressed and ran downstairs to eat breakfast.
My mom was staring at me the whole time I was eating...
y/n: "What are you looking at?"
Mom: "Girl shove that last waffle down your throat and let's go!"
She grabs my arm dragging me to the car.
I quickly grabbed my last waffle trying to eat it.
We got in the car...
Mom: "So I spoke with your dad... he said our budget is $500!"
y/n: "WHAT!?! Mom, I don't need $500 for a dress."
Mom: "YES YOU DO! Oh, we should also get some shoes, earrings, rings, necklaces, new makeup-"
y/n: "Mom I have that all at home."
Mom: "You can't just wear old shoes and stuff on your first date. You must look NEW!"
y/n: "Oh my god."
I sigh...
This is going to be a long day.

y/n: "Well I got 6 more hours!"
Mom: "ONLY SIX!? Oh no we're behind schedule!"

Chris comes out of the fitting room.
Chris: "This looks good."

Chris: "Come on Nick this is the 75th suit I've tried on!"

Chris: "Who is that?"
Nick: "I don't know let me check. Oh, it's y/n!"
I opened the text...
Chris: "Ooo let me see what she said!"

Chris heads back inside the fitting room as I look back at the text.
y/n sent me a picture of the dress she's wearing tonight.
