Pool Party

y/n's pov:
It was the next day at 8:00 am.
I turned off my alarm and I took a minute to stretch.
I then hopped out of bed and ran downstairs...

Mom: "Morning!!"
y/n: "Hi mom!"
Mom: "I made pancakes with fruits in a smiley face!!"
y/n: "Like you've been doing every year since I was five! Thanks!!"

My mom started this tradition when I was five and starting school for the first time.
She makes me pancakes with a smiley face, on the last day of summer, to calm me down for the first day of school.
Then she would plan a really fun day...

y/n: "Even though I love the smiley face pancakes, I'm still nervous about starting a new school.
Mom: "Don't worry honey, you'll be fine!"
y/n: "Also I'm sorry I can't hang out with you like we do every year."
Mom: "It's okay, I'll be with your brother! Just make sure to have fun at the pool today!"
y/n: "Thanks mom!"
I finished up my food and ran up to get changed...

I put on my bathing suit and wore shorts and a shirt over top of my bikini...

Then I got a text from Nick...

Nick:
"Hey, we'll pick you up in 10."

y/n:
"Okay."

I quickly put on some sunscreen...
I grabbed my phone, bucket hat, sunglasses, and shoes. I put on my shoes and ran out the door.
y/n: "Bye mom, I love you!"
Mom: "Love you!!"

Chris's pov:

We were at y/n's house waiting for her to come out...
She comes running out the door and hops in the minivan.
y/n: "Hi!"
Chris: "Hi-"
Nick: "HEYYY! Honestly, I was kind of upset about missing the pool party but then Chris said you were coming so YAY!".
Nick turns up the volume of the song...
Nick: "I am so happy you and Chris are dating because now he always wants to sit in the back with you, which means I get to play DOJA CATT!!"
y/n laughs and looks at me...
Chris: "I like your bucket hat, and your glasses, and shoes, and shorts, and shirt-"
y/n: "I get it! And thanks! You look good too!"
Chris: "Thanks."
Matt: "ALRIGHT LOVE BIRDS Let's go!"
Nick: "DID SOMEONE SAY BIRDS AHHHHH!!"
We all laugh as we start driving to the pool.

We finally arrived at the pool, and we went in.
Me and the triplets went our separate ways into the locker room to get dressed...
I walked into the girl's locker room scoping around the place for Alyssa.

Phew, the coast is clear.

I took off my shorts and shirt to reveal my bathing suit.
I placed all my belongings in the locker and left the locker room entering the pool...
