Elizabeth's POV
As the cruiser drives through the small gloomy, but adorable town Isabella and I take in everything this logging town has to offer.

Every storefront has a wood carving. The Timber Museum's sign is two loggers sawing a stump. The police station is a small wooden building across from City Hall.

The cruiser pulls up to the old two-story house. A woodshed full of firewood. There's a small boat in the garage, fishing gear, and an old buoy. Isabella climbs out while I patiently wait for Charlie to open the backseat door. When he does I taken the house that is our childhood home.

'... we're home.' I mentally greet the house before turning and helping Charlie unload the trunk while Isabella impatiently waits at the front door with her arms crossed and her right foot tapping as if the fifteen minutes that we're taking to unload and carry the luggage to the front door is actually hours.

Charlie and I carry in mine and Isabella's bags inside. The house isn't stylish the only new thing here is a Flat Screen T.V., but it's comfortable, lived-in. Lots of fishing memorabilia; photos of Charlie fishing with Quileute Indians Billy Black and Harry Clearwater. Handmade cards to 'Daddy' and photos of Isabella and I are scattered here and there surprising me that he actually got them since he never replied back to our letters which is why we stopped sending them at age 11.
