That was the first noises Shuichi started to hear when he woke up.
His head and his whole body hurted. He opened his eyes and tried to look around but he felt so weak and confused. With the little strength he had, he tried to sit down. He kept hearing the "...bip... bip..." and he realized he was in an hospital.
<<Ah... you are finally awake>> he heard a voice speaking. Then he saw a doctor coming to him while smiling <<The simulation ended>>
Shuichi wasn't sure if he was talking to him, but the doctor was facing to him <<Excuse me... uhm... which simulation?>> Shuichi asked with his weak voice.
He looked at him <<Saihara Shuichi, right?>> the doctor said while looking at some papers he had in his hands <<I guess you are still confused. Well I will explain everything to you. But first you should stand up, it will make you feel better.>>
Even if Shuichi felt weak he stood up normally, that was a good thing.
<<Follow me>> the doctor said while smiling and he did as he said.
Actually the detective didn't know where he was going, but he thought that he had to trust the doctor.

<<So... uhm... I don't understand what actually happened...>> Shuichi started to say.
The doctor smiles and noded <<That's understandable. So, simply, "Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony" is a TV show, made in real life but in a virtual life. There have been already two before that. The "Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc" was the first one who had a lot of success, then the "Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair" was the second one who had success as well.>>
Shuichi looked at him <<So this was just a show? And everything was in a virtual world?>>

Shuichi nodded and then he asked <<Can I... see them? Please?>>
<<Sure.>> he nodded and started to walk, and Shuichi followed him.
Even if everything was not real, the detective just felt so stupid. How could he let everyone die like that? Everyone believed in him but he just failed, being just four survivors.

<<We took them all in another room, this one>> the doctor opened the door, showing a room full of people. Of his friends, with all some number next to them.All the people he couldn't save.
There were Rantaro (078), then Kaede (079), then Ryoma (080) then Kirumi (081). After them Angie (082) and Tenko (083), then Korekiyo (084) still with his mask on. Then Miu (085) and Gonta (086), next to them Kokichi (087), Tsumugi (088) and Kiibo (089).
He looked at them all. Their face looked relaxed, like they all were sleeping.
Then he noticed they had some machines next all of them.
<<What are these Machines for?>> Shuichi asked.
Then the doctor said <<It's for keeping them alive and to control the beat of their heart.>>
Shuichi then asked another question <<If they are alive but in the virtual world are dead, what do they saw after their death? Like Heaven or they kept looking at what was happing during the Killing Game?>>
<<That's an intelligent question>> the doctor admired Shuichi then answered <<They don't see anything. We don't know what there is after death, so it's just dark. We wanted to make something realistic.>>
Shuichi couldn't stop asking questions <<When will they wake up?>>
<<When all the doctors will be sure everything is fine>> the doctor answered, pointing at some doctor who were controlling something on the machines <<now don't worry.>>
The doctor noticed Shuichi worried face then suggested <<They will be fine. Let's take something, would you like a cup of coffee?>> then the dark haired boy nodded and walked away with the doctor.

As Shuichi drinked, the doctor answered all his question he had. Even if Shuichi was still anxious, he felt a bit better.
Till something happened.
A doctor runned to them, he seemed worried <<Doctor, we have a problem.>>
The doctor that was talked with Shuichi till 4 seconds ago, answered <<What kind of?>>
<<We can't find number 087, do you know if he was already up when you came to visit the others?>>
Then Shuichi couldn't hear anything else, he just saw the two doctor keep talking. He realized one of his friends was missing.
Kokichi.
