It was nice to not have to wake up insanely early to catch a flight. They arrived at the hotel in Saitama, Japan, late the night before. Dawa couldn't fall asleep, no matter how exhausted he was physically and mentally. The reason being that his mind wouldn't stop thinking and jumping from thought to thought. He had decided to start a new book, "The Autobiography of Malcolm X, as told by Alex Haley" He had only gotten almost ¾ of the book before knocking out into deep sleep.

As he slept into the late morning, the others woke up one by one, checking their phones for notifications regarding their schedules among other things.

Jimin woke up and took a shower. He made a phone call to have breakfast brought up to their room. Then he ended up going onto twitter to see what the internet was up to. As soon as he saw it, his eye bulged out of his socket and quickly sent it to their group chat.

me: Dawa hyung is trending on twitter! He released the video about the accident, did any of you know this?

taetae: Noooo. When did he even release it??

WWOldguy: It was released yesterday, according to BANGTANTV and Youtube. It just seems a bit random timing.

Grandpa: Yea, is he up yet?

Me: nah, still sleeping I think he had a hard time sleeping again, his head was resting on an open book. He finished his other book on the plane and so he probably just started the book last night. But he's almost done with it already, the words are tiny too. Just how late did he stay up?

Rm our savior: Okay, Jimin, wake him up gently. I think we need a group meeting. Jin tells JK and Hobi about the meeting as well. Meet in Jimin and Dawa's room.

Jimin ran to Dawa who was sleeping, curled up under the bed covers. "Hyung, wake up. The others are gonna be here soon." Jimin lightly shook Dawa. He was careful not to touch anywhere near Dawa's neck.

"Hyung, you really have to wake up right now. The others are going to be here soon."

Dawa squinted his eyes open, shielding his eyes from the light with his left hand. "I bent the bloody pages." He mumbled looking down at the autobiography of Malcom X.

Dawa stared at Jimin, studying the way Jimin played with the ends of his shirt. The nervous smile and the way Jimin's eyes seemed to jump out of it's socket. "I'll go wash up, thanks Jimin." He groggily managed and walked to the bathroom.

Few moments later, the rest of BTS was in the living area of their hotel room. Dawa walked out of the bathroom, hair slightly disheveled from drying his hair. He was currently wearing an oversized red graphic tee with black shorts that reached to his knee. He headed over to them knowing exactly what they were here for.

"Why didn't you tell us you were going to release it yesterday?" Namjoon started, not wasting any time. Dawa noticed Jungkook next to Namjoon, biting the insides of his mouth.

Dawa took a deep breath. "I would have told you if the circumstances were a bit different, but right now, all I can say is that I needed to do it without others knowing." The rest frowned at this. Clearly, it wasn't just about Dawa, they weren't dumb and they've learned to peice together Dawa's vauge answers over the years.

"Are we missing something here? Dawa, I'm sorry if this is a little harsh but you're in a group. A band. You can't just do things on your own because what you do also affects all of us." Jin huffed, trying to get the younger not to be so vague.

"I know that. I know I'm in a band and I know that you guys care about me, and believe in me. So, I need you to trust me on this, just like everything else. Please. Half of the story is not even mine to tell. I only ended it. I hope." This last statement confirmed what the rest were all thinking. Dawa released the video, not because he was fully prepared and ready for the public to know about his father, but for the benefit of someone else.
