We returned after four weeks and it was time for us to go hunting for the battle with Victoria and her newborn army. Edward wouldn't be fighting because he wanted to stay with Bella so he could protect her.
This hunt was crucial so we would have enough energy to fight, and it was necessary to ensure Bella's safety, because Victoria had sworn death upon her after Edward killed James. She would also seek death upon Riley.
While we were hunting, Edward had proposed to Bella and she accepted. I had a feeling it would come eventually and I knew she wanted to be with my brother forever.
My motivation to protect Riley increased, and if Victoria wanted to get to him, then she would have to go through me first.
