It was dark, and cramped. Deiji was alone.
She pulled her knees up as her eyes peeked through the small slit where light omitted.
She was hiding after all.
Deiji giggled out of excitement. She found an empty cabinet in the kitchen and decided to step in and hide. She was alone in the dorm. Not for long though!
The boys went out to get some food and said they'd be back in a while. Sure they should've left at least one member to stay with the toddler, but they thought it wouldn't be any trouble to leave Deiji just for a bit.
Probably a bad idea.
Deiji gasped and hid her giggles as she heard the door open.
The guys were back.
"We're home~" said Jin in a sing-song voice, placing a plastic bag of food on the table. He paused, looking around. It was quiet. Too quiet for his liking.
The others entered, removing their shoes and joined Jin. They looked around as well.
"Ji?" Jungkook called out. He kept himself from getting worried too quick. "She probably fell asleep, one sec." He said, speed-walking to his room.
He opened the door and it was empty.
"What..." He looked around one more time before turning back. "Nevermind, she isn't there." He told the others.
"Not in mine either." Said Jimin, exiting his shared room with Hoseok.
"Empty." Tae said, exiting his own.
"What?" Said Jungkook, furrowing his eyebrows as he scanned the dorm.
"We locked the door on our way out right?" Asked Yoongi, trying to sound like he wasn't getting worried, but he definitely was.
"Yeah?" Replied Namjoon, looking at the door.
"Yeah?" Yoongi raised his eyebrow.
"I mean, I'm sure we did. I don't think we'd leave it unlocked." Joon said.
"Deiji?" Jungkook called out again.
No response.
All Jungkook could hear right now is his rapid heartbeat beating in his ears. They left her right here, how could she be gone?
Hoseok was busy by himself, checking every window they had that could open. His imagination went too far when thinking of where she was.
What if someone went in and took her?
What if she looked out and fell?
He was mentally going histerical.
The guys started looking everywhere. Literally everywhere.
Some checked under the table.
Some under the bed.
In closets.
Taehyung even resorted to check the washing machine. Who knows? Maybe she was there.
"I doubt she's under the rug, Jungkook." Said Jimin, a small laugh escaping him.
Jungkook shrugged. "You'll never know with her."
The search went on for a while, and they started to get really worried. Where could she have gone?
