"Hot water?"

The two scientists watched as Kohaku filled a large jar of hot spring water, "Yeah. I take it home to make a hot spring bath. For healing purposes."

Needless to say, they were impressed.

Kohaku carried the heavy jar with no effort, smiling with contentment.

Senku was yet again confused, "You look like a ten billion percent healthy kid to me. What use does a lively lioness like you have with any more healing?"

"I'm not a lioness!" she retorted in irritation, "And it's not for me, it's for my sister."

"She sick?" Amelie asked as she rolled her neck.

Kohaku turned away from them, "Honestly...she's such a troublesome nuisance of an older sister. She's been especially sick lately. If only I could swap her body for my exceedingly healthy one..."

She walked off, they glanced at each other with a shrug before following.

Senku was curious about their new ally, "That jar looks like a little less than fifty liters. It's not quite enough for a bath. How many trips do you make with that heavy-ass jar? Every single day..."

She let out a scoff before answering, "It's just part of my daily training. I'm a lot stronger thanks to it, too. I should be grateful to my nuisance sis—"

She cut herself off by her legs giving out, she almost spilled the jar, but Senku stopped it with a hand.

"You haven't fully recovered yet, have you?" Senku questioned smugly, "I can't have you over-exerting yourself and dying on me. Hand it over."

"Senku..."

"Senku, let me carry it, you're not gonna... never mind, let him figure it out," Amelie watched in amusement as Senku attempted to carry the jar.

Senku's legs started to tremble as his cheeks puffed out from the exertion. He loses his strength for a moment, and Amelie automatically reaches out to steady him.

Amelie smirked squeezing his shoulder, "You can handle it, big shot? Sure, you don't want me to help?"

"I–got it."

"Mhm," Amelie rolled her eyes, "Fine, let's go, then."

A few feet later, as Amelie predicted, he fell.

"You're the one overexerting yourself," Kohaku deadpanned at the boy.

Amelie moved the jar to the side with a slight grunt–though not effortlessly, since she was lighter than Senku—she could lift more than him despite this.

"Is everyone other than me in this stone world a gorilla? Kohaku, Tsukasa, Taiju, Amelie..."

Amelie snorted in laughter.

"Gorilla?! At least call me a lioness, that was better!" Kohaku protested.

"That's not the point here," Senku replied.

Amelie crouched down to Senku on the ground, gently flicking his forehead, "You're giving yourself all this trouble when we could just use the pulley for a chassis, nerd."

The corner of his mouth lifted into a grin, "It's moments like this when I remember why I keep you around, Ame. Not a bad idea."

She played off the warmth she felt at the praise, "Of course, it's not a bad idea. It's comin' from me."

"A...pulley?"

"Woo!" Amelie cheered happily at the rush, her hair blowing furiously in the wind.
