[Camera soars high over the castle, as below, students hurry to their classes. Finally, it finds Hazel, Ron and Hermione walking together across the grounds.]
Hermione: It can't be Hagrid. It just can't be.

"You're in denial, because the evidence points to him," Lucius sneers out.

Ron: We don't even know this Riddle. He sounds like a dirty, rotten snitch to me.
Hazel: The monster had killed someone, Ron. What would any of us done?

"I mean she isn't wrong with that comment," Regulus says awkwardly not knowing what to believe.

Hermione: Look. Hagrid's our friend. Why don't we just go ask him about it?
Ron: That'd be a cheerful visit. Hello, Hagrid. Tell us, have you been setting anything mad and hairy loose in the castle lately?
Hagrid: Mad an' hairy? Wouldn' be talkin' 'bou me, now would yeh?

Everyone jumps not expecting him to be there.

[The trio wheels, spots Hagrid grinning at them. They instantly look guilty.]
Hazel and Ron and Hermione: No!
[Hagrid looks at them curiously. Hazel nods to the strange canister in his hand.]
Hazel: What's that you've got, Hagrid?

"Way to change the subject," Remus laughs out slightly.

Hagrid: Flesh-Eatin' Slug Repellent. Fer the Mandrakes, yeh know. Accordin' ter Professor Sprout, they still got a bit o' growin' up ter do, but once their acne clears up, we'll be able to chop 'em up, stew 'em, an' get those people in the hospital un-Petrified. 'Til then, you three best watch yerselves, all righ'?

"Thank god they are going to be okay," Multiple people say letting out the breath they didn't know they were holding.

[They nod, watch Hagrid lope away. Just then, Neville comes running up. He looks pale with fright.]

"What's wrong Neville?!" Alice asks freaked out.

Neville: Hazel, I don't know who did it, but... you'd better come.
[Hazel's space is a disaster: trunk riffled, drawers flung open, bedclothes strewn on the floor.]

"Who would do such a thing?" Lily asks in complete shock.

Hermione: It had to be a Gryffindor. Nobody else knows our password. Unless, it wasn't a student...
Ron: Well, whoever it was, they were looking for something.
Hazel: And they found it... Tom Riddle's diary is gone.

"That's not good- that is very much not good-" James says in a small panic.
"Who would steal it?" Barty asks but Regulus isn't listening as he has his suspicions that it was Ginny, just based on the fact that she looked freaked when she saw Hazel with the diary and then has been writing on it.
Ginny looks upset at the mess she caused, she just hopes when they find out, they won't be to upset with her.
