Rolling carefully into the eerie forest, darkness encompassed your vision, and an unsettling silence wrapped around you and filled the area around you.
The echo of the door closing reverberated in the silence, accompanied only by faint whispers of the boys' voices behind you. With a long sigh, you smoothly glided through the forest, weaving in and out through trees your brain trying to remember where you had to go.
Venturing deeper into the forest, the sounds around you dwindled, replaced now by the distant calls of birds and the gentle rustle of leaves stirred by a slight breeze which came every so often. You couldn't help but groan in annoyance, just wishing that the large dog-like creature would come out now, instead of playing that stupid surprise game with you.
Taking notice of the large trees that loomed overhead, you examined their twisted branches as you strolled by. You watched the trees cast shadows on the forest floor below you, finding the distorted images funny.
The crunch of leaves beneath your feet echoed through the stillness not particularly caring about what could hear you or who you were alerting. Your body heat coursed through you and your heart raced, but not in fear, but rather anticipation.
With every long stride, you kept an eye out for the large wolf-like creature known as Mike, knowing full well that he loved to play games. Your senses remained on high alert, keeping your body aware and hearing tuned up.
At every rustle or movement of something, you couldn't help but shift your gaze quickly and slow down your strides, looking for his cloudy, button-like eyes in the trees.
The darkness seemed to swallow you whole, but that didn't seem to bother you whatsoever as you strolled leisurely through the forest. In fact, you hummed lightly to yourself, keeping your hands in the pockets of your hoodie, enjoying the ominous tension around you. You found it quite... Entertaining.
Time stretches on making it feel like an eternity as you keep moving forward, your senses heightening to search for any signs of danger. The branches above swayed gently in the breeze, whispering an eerie lullaby. In your peripheral vision, you saw something bright, piercing into the side of your head.
