CHAPTER 4 ( HAZEL)

The whole week passed in a blur, everything was going smoothly, but my father was acting weird and When I say weird it's very weird, like he didn't shout at me even once the whole week he didn't break any household, not that I'm complaining but it is just so strange. And I can't help but think that those three scary men are the reason for his strange behaviour.

I was in my room scrolling through my phone after having breakfast when I heard a knock on my bedroom door. I got up and opened it only to see my father standing there all dressed up. looking at me he said " Get ready in five minutes I'm waiting downstairs" and left me standing there all confused about his behaviour. But either way I got ready and headed downstairs.

After a 30 minute drive we pulled into a large mansion like really really large.

My father got out of the car so did I. And started following him. After entering the mansion we came into a large sitting area which screamed MONEY.

Beautiful walls, lush carpets, and very classy decor.

A man in black outfit walked towards my father and said something to him after  listening to him my father turned towards me and said " Wait here. And do not touch anything" and walked away with that scary looking man.

I was standing in the sitting area when I heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw a very surprised Stephen standing in the doorway. He walked towards me and gave me a quick friendly hug and asked " Hazel, what are you doing here?"

I shrugged as I answered "I don't know, I'm here with my father he said he had an important work to do." Before he could've asked anything else two men entered the sitting area. I saw Nickolas and then my eyes met with a pair of BLUE eyes looking at me with 'anger?'. But why? I didn't do anything did I ? 

Before I had a chance to think of something more I heard the voice of an elderly man and turned around to see my father coming towards us with the same old man who was at my house one week ago.

The man said " Nick sent Stephen back home."

Nickolas nodded at the order and Stephen turned towards me and said " See you at the graduation ceremony in three days 'topper'. After bidding goodbye he walked out of the door.

Now I was looking at my father and the other man that were talking about something, while the other man was looking at me. After they're done talking my father bid everyone good bye and starts to walk out and as usual I started following him out.

But stopped in my tracks when I again heard the voice of the old man and froze.

" Where do you think you are going girl." He said in anger. And I instantly turned around so did my father.

" I'm sorry what?" I said in confusion. "You're not going anywhere, from now on you'll be staying here in this house." He said in a very dangerous tone and serious face which scared the shit out of me.

" Mr. Russo, I'll take my leave now." I heard my father's voice and looked at him in disbelief when he further added " as for her, do whatever you want to do with her I don't give a shit." I was so stunned by hearing all this and said with a cracked and shaky voice " what are you saying? I'm not staying here. I'm  done here, I'm going home." I said and turned to leave and the old man shouted "Ace, stop her!!" And someone caught my wrist in death grip I looked at the person and found Adrian looking at me with puzzled eyes like he's also not able to understand what is going on.

Then l looked at my father who was about to walk away and I screamed " DAD!! please don't leave me here, what have I done to deserve this.... I'm your daughter please don't do this to me... I'll  do anything you want please don't leave me here." I was a complete crying mess till now begging him and trying to free myself. Hearing me my father turned to look at me with so much disgust and hate  "You're asking me what have you done? You ruined my whole life. You're the biggest curse for my fortune. You're the reason I lost my everything so I have to take money from Mr. Russo, you were the reason I couldn't return the money and now you'll be the reason I'll walk out of here free." He spit everything out in disgust. And I stopped struggling to break free. He walked out. And I was looking at his back.

Suddenly I started to feel light headed, everything around me started to spin , black dots appeared in front of my eyes and finally darkness consumed me  and everything went dark.
