Hi guys I hope you are doing well so here's that new chapter of the story I hope you like it and I really want to thank you for giving this tooka chance I really appreciated and I cannot tell you how happy I am as we reached 1k+ reads on this book I just can't thank you enough.

Adrian's pov:

I was walking inside the mansion around noon, no I didn't took a leave if you are wondering that, i left a confidential file here and Nick was out of town getting info about 'Lucas Agosti'

Suddenly I heard a scream and I ran inside, I saw Hazel lying on the floor and her head was bleeding. My heart stopped working for a minute I couldn't move it was like someone knocked the air out of my lungs. I called her name a couple of times but before she could answer she lost her consciousness.

I carried her in my arms and rent what my car I settle Hazel in my lap in the back seat and ordered the driver to take the car to the hospital.

But that was bleeding continuously I took a handkerchief and put it on the wound, as I touch with the wound with the handkerchief Hazel hissed in pain.

"Hey, hey open your eyes." I said to her.

I continuously talked to her throughout the drive to the hospital, even though she wasn't answering, and I don't even know if she was able to listen any of the word I was saying.

We reached the hospital in 15 minutes I got out of the car and to Hazel in my arms again and called the doctor. As soon as the doctor came he examined her in an instant second and tukur to the operation theatre which is the wound was big and she needed stitches they need to check that if something Shark hit her head or if there are some pieces of wood or glass are in her head.

It felt like everything has stopped. I don't know what to do. All I can see is her image of lying on the floor surrounded by blood. Every time I close my eyes I see her. Every time I see her image something in my chest constricts it is like a heavy weight that I cannot lift. I cannot breathe properly. My mind is not able to think of anything except her or the pain she must be going through.

Author's pov:

The thought of that important deal or that confidential file was the not even the last thing on Adrian's mind. All he was thinking about Hazel's condition and that thought of her well being was making him restless. He never felt this way before not for anyone, then why was he feeling this way about Hazel's condition.
Why does it effect him? It didn't mattered before when they got married, then why now? What is happening to him? This thought was eating him from inside.

On the other hand, inside the ot doctors were treating Hazel's wound. It wasn't that deep but the boss of blood had made the condition worse. After giving her stitches and making sure that Hazel was in a stable condition, they moved her into the private room with the best facilities as Adrian booked that room.

Adrian's pov

As soon as the doors of OT opened and the doctor came out, I asked him "How's is she? There's nothing critical right?"
To that he answered "Don't worry Mr. Russo she's completely fine. There's no critical. But please make sure that she takes proper bed rest atleast for one week, and she's not taking her meals properly. She had very low blood sugar and seeing her condition I think she haven't ate anything from yesterday afternoon maybe. So you need take care of her very seriously."

And he left, 'why isn't Hazel eating properly? Servents also told me that she rarely have breakfast, and now she got unconscious and fell from stairs due to not eating properly.'

About an hour later the doctor allowed Adrian to see Hazel she was still unconscious The doctor said that she will get consciousness about in two hours.

Hazel's pov

I felt my head pounding, there was a numbing feeling throughout my body my eyes were heavy and I am having hard time opening them there was a continuous sound of beeping which is annoying.

After few moment I finally open my eyes and met with a very hard white light which made me hiss.
Suddenly I felt someone sending besides me the person said "Hey, open your eyes slowly otherwise it will hurt."I did exactly what they asked I opened my eyes very slowly and let my eyes adjust the light as my vision became more clear I saw a man no I saw "Adrian" my husband.

Before I could say anything he said again "You wait here I will call the doctor." And he left the room.

I looked around and take the room and notice that I was in hospital there was a trip attached to my hand. But how did I get here what happened? I tried to remember I was walking down the stairs and suddenly my head felt disease I must have fallen down.
But how is Adrian here? Wasn't he in his office? Did somebody call him and tell him that I felt from the stairs?  but wait before losing conscious I heard someone saying my name was it Adrian? I was lost in my thoughts when the door opened and Adrian walked in with a man who was a doctor as a doctor approached me Adrian stood beside him.

"How are you feeling?" The doctor asked,

"I'm feeling good."

"Are you experiencing any kind of pain?"

"Yes I have a little pain in my forehead."

"Okay so do you remember how you fell what happened?"

"I was walking down the stairs when suddenly I felt disease and I missed my step and fell."

"Okay so when was the last time you ate something?"

"Why are you asking this?"

"You had a very low blood sugar and I want to ask if this is a condition or if it is because you haven't had a proper meal recently."

"I don't know, yesterday afternoon maybe! I was not feeling good so I didn't have dinner yesterday, and this morning I was not able to walk a stand properly because of my mensurations."

"Ok do you have any kind of medical condition for your mensuration?"

"Yes I have pcos."

"Okay you can go home after 1 hour. Take rest."
After finishing the conversation doctor left the room.

Now it was just me and Adrian. I looked at him and found he was already looking at me. I don't know what to say. Should I say something?

"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked. Taking my hands in his.

"Fine" I replied.

"Why are you having proper meals Do you not like the food the chef makes, if that's the reason then tell me we will hire chefs." He asked me with a frown on his face.

I look at him not understanding what is going on, why is he trying to be a part of my life if he doesn't give a damn about me? Why the sudden  change of behaviour? Why come back when he doesn't want to do anything to me? And now acting like everything is normal. That's it. I am done.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked as I cannot take it anymore I need to know why!!
