I woke up on the floor of a dirty cell, my side aching in pain as I came to my senses.

Sitting up slowly, I winced as I pressed a dirty hand to my still bleeding stab wound.

I inhaled as I stood from the concrete floor with shaky legs, my side radiating pain.

While looking around the small room, I noticed that there were deep scratches on the walls that surrounded me.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I studied the scratches, wondering if the animal who caused them was feral or not.

The scratches certainly seemed like they came from something feral because of how rugged they looked.

But I wondered if the scratches came from something feral or just a rogue fighting for their life.

I looked away from the deep scratches a few moments later, a heavy feeling remaining in my chest that was telling me that the same animal who caused those scratches didn't leave this cell with their life.

A sigh escaped through my lips as I leaned back against the wall, my hand covering my wound as I started to look around the room again.

I leaned my head back against the wall, taking deep breathes to try and distract myself from the pain of being stabbed.

I stared down at the floor with lazy eyes, my energy continuing to drain from my body every second.

While I was looking down at the concrete floor, I noticed that the floor was covered in dirt and realized that the air was thick with dust and animal hair, most likely the last wolves hair that they kept down here.

As the hours continued to pass by, I continued to wonder if they planned to keep me down here forever. I wondered if they were going to keep me here until I died from dehydration or malnourishment. And I wondered if anyone from my pack was coming to get me.

They fought us without a second thought just because we were rogues.

My feet immediately started moving when I saw Adam.

He was kneeling on the ground, his eyes stuck to the ground as a woman stood in front of him.

Aaliyah

I ran quickly, my breathing heavy as I remembered the small girls words.

The woman standing in front of Adam held an evil grin on her face but she proved that she was truly wicked when I saw that she was holding a gun, the tip of the gun pressed against Adam's head.

I grunted as I forced myself to run faster, groaning as I crashed into the woman.

I laid on top of her, trying to pry the gun from her hands.

She growled at me as she held onto the weapon, not letting her grip on the destructive weapon falter.

Her eyes darted behind me, a quick grin coming across her face.

I turned my head, my eyebrows pulled together when I saw a man there.

Then a sharp pain quickly spread throughout my body.
