THE BREEZE AT night was chilly but what sent shivers down Sumedh's spine was the scene he saw in front of him.

"I mean...he's a monster man. I'm so sorry to say so about your father Raisha, but he is a monster." Sumedh said to both of them.

Yes, it was all planned.

From the accident of Raisha by falling from her company's terrace to her condition being extremely critical, everything was nothing but some made up news to lead the culprit at the wrong direction.

Actually what happened that day at terrace was something entirely different.

Flashback

As soon as these words left Kiaan's mouth, he pulled a knife from the back of his pants making Raisha's eyes go wide.

"Are you crazy? You...you can't..." She said but stopped in between when she heard a click from the knife.

It was a fake knife. A plastic knife. More like a technical device in disguise of a knife.

"What the.." she could even complete the sentence until he opened the device and show her the inclides.

"What is this?" She asked still unable to understand.

"A microphone." He replied.

"What? Why?" She asked again.

"A few days back, my father came to visit me. As soon as I saw him, I knew he was up to know good. So while he thought I was busy drinking water, I actually put this device on the table. And it recorded everything he said.

And to say the least, he is a devil straight from hell." He told her and she looked at him with some expression he couldn't quite figure out.

"And?" After a minute or two, she asked him.

"I need your help." He said.

"How?" She asked. "And why should I help you?"

"Because...the first thing he wants to do is end your existence. Help me get him towards the punishments for his wrong deeds and I will help save your life.

You know ek teer se do nishane?" At his words her brows raised but she knew he was right.

So she agreed.

"Fine."

Flashback ends

"It's fine. I don't mind. I mean...now that I have seen by my eyes, yea. He is one heck of a monster to let his daughter be killed by someone for some profit." She tried to look very strong but she failed miserably. Both Kiaan and Sumedh could see that.

So Kiaan made his way towards her. They were all at the hospital room which was reserved for her under the name of critical emergency for the media.

Sensing the need of privacy for them, Sumedh left the room quitely.

"You know...it's alright to cry." He told her while sitting infront of her on the bed.

"I don't want to cry." She replied almost quickly.

"I see..." And without anymore words, he closed her eyes with one of his palm and kept it there. Soon enough, his palms got wet as she started to weep.

"He...he was a superhero to me. I couldn't even dream about him...him behind my attacks." She cried a little more until she felt sleepy.

And as he got the hint, he wrapped the blanket around her now asleep frame and kissed her forehead afterwards.

"I wish I can take your pain away." He muttered to her sleeping frame before making his way out.

"You are in love with her." Sumedh said as soon as he saw Kiaan coming to his way on the hospital terrace.

"And?" Kiaan asked back.

"Woah woah woah man! You ain't even denying now." Sumedh was surprised and he let Kiaan see that.

But Kiaan just heaved a heavy sigh before turning around and going towards the terrace door. Most probably to get away from the terrace.

"You know you can share with me right?" Sumedh let out, still standing on his position near the terrace railing.

"It's...complicated." Kiaan said. His hands in his pant pockets and face towards the terrace door, his back towards Sumedh.

"How?" His bestfriend asked him.

"You know, she is the daughter of my father's archenemy. Now that her own father had betrayed her, she might even develop some trust issues. And apart from that, my father is behind her back too. Plus if media got to know about the lie, her life may get in risk too." He explained and turned towards Sumedh. Who seemed to be in deep thoughts now.

"So...how about you keep it a secret still but at least tell her about your feelings. Who knows, she might reciprocate them?" Sumedh suggested to him.

"I don't think it's a good idea." Saying so, Kiaan made his way down towards the hospital canteen.

"Such a concrete wall he is." Sumedh mumbled to himself.
