I was on my way to hang out at the Curtis brothers house, since I had nothing better to do. I walk through the door and only see Ponyboy there "Hey Pony, where's Darry and Sodapop? Both at work?" I ask sitting next to him "Well Darry's already at work, Soda ain't" I raise an eyebrow "How come?"
"He's sick" Pony says "Well is he okay?" He shrugs "This morning he was asleep, but he had a fever of like 102 or something" I stand up "I am gonna go check on him" I knock on the door and I hear a rough voice say "Come in" I then walk inside and see Sodapop in bed, he does not look good at all
"oh hey y/n.." He says, he sounded stuffed up and I sit in a chair next to the bed "Hey soda, how ya holding up?" He sighs "Terrible I feel like such crap.." He says as I look at him "you need anything?" I ask as he nods" can you get me some more tissues? "I nod and hand him a box of tissues "Well let me know if you need anything else, I'm here for ya" he cracks a grin and nods "Thanks y/n"
