Chapter five: What the heck will I do now?!

After a couple weeks...

I woke up to the sound of screaming.

I decide to go back to sleep.

I woke up and went downstairs to see what was for breakfast because usually Nana and granddad made breakfast and we're awake right before I was awake.

No one was in the kitchen.

I looked around the whole house.

Finally I decided to go into Nana and granddad's room.

For some reason the whole hallway seemed strangely long.

I peeked in and saw Nana and grandad is lying on the floor a pool of blood surrounding their bodies In their sleep.

I screamed and fell to the floor crying.

Faith heard me and started crying so I cradled her And kept on crying.

When I finished I went downstairs and saw a note.

Dear Leana, 

I realize you are in a tough situation with everything so I welcome you to my house. Love Dad

But dad is gone right?

I see a map and it looks like a five hour walk not bad.

I pack my back pack and grab faith hoping that dad is some nice guy and not a criminal.
