CHAPTER 25

"Countdown . . . 2"

As I am applying for my masters degree I saw the four couples I know chatting outside the campus. It seems they are having a bit of a fuss. I ran to them waiving.

"Heeey!" I shouted to them

"Hmm? Oh! Ice!!" I was tackled by Riko while petting me

"Stop that!" I said

"You say that but you keep wagging your tail" Kyle pointed out

"Ack!" Then everyone gave a laugh

"Umm... guys, if we don't hurry, the restaurant might close..." Kou said

"A restaurant?" I ask

"Well, just a double date. But thanks to Riko, we got here late" Adam pointed out

"Heh. Well, lets go! Wanna come?" Riko asked

"I cant. I don't have Rex and it'd be rude"

"..."

Everyone went silent. I then remembered it's two months until he leaves for Chile. I stand silent for a while but flashed a smile for everyone

"???" they all wonder

"It's just I want everyone to smile" I gave them a hug "besides, you four have a date! And... " I paused "... Rex... we cannot change his mind. Let's just support it!"

"Ice..." Riko said

"Well, gotta go! I still need to finish my enrollment" I said as I waived them goodbye.

...

Now that I think about it, I don't want him to leave as well. I hate it when he makes wrong decisions... but I don't know if I should consider this as wrong anymore...

"Ah!"

As I was walking aimlessly, I suddenly bumped into someone. I looked up and I cant believe what I saw

"A-A-A..."

"What up, half-blood" He said as he pat my head

That tease... that fur... and that voice... It is! It's Andy!

"Andy!" I gave him a hug

"Hehehe! Now, now! That's not how you treat a professor now is it?" He asked

"A professor?"

"Well, yes. I had a job here and I will be teaching Science and Technology" he showed his ID

"What course?" I asked

"Hmm... Specifically Life Science and Society" he said

"Hew! That's one of my minors!"

"Well..." he pet me "Study well cause I wont be giving any extra points"

I nod in agreement and went for a walk with Andy

"Hmm...? Something wrong?" he asked

"Well, Rex is leaving in 2 months... I... don't know if I should stop him... or..." I then start to cry

"Mr. Ruuichi" I was startle by him calling me by my last name "if you love him, you don't own him. Try to think he also have a life. Also, you can also visit him"

"I..."

"Listen, back then, I gave up on you because I want you to be happy. You should do the same" he pat my head

"Hehe... thanks!"

"Anytime" He keeps petting me

"What is it with everyone and petting me today" I complained

"It just means you are loved" he said

"Love... Oh! Andy! Did you find someone?"

"Ehh!?" He backed up and blushed

"I can tell by your face~" I teased

"Grr... " He growled "I... did...."

"R-R-Really!?" I asked with my eyes sparkling "Who is that person?"

"He's there" He pointed the Lion in a suit and tie in a car. I noticed he is waving at us

"Heee~! Andy! Come on! I have something for you at the mall!" He shouted as he winked

"I gotta go" he blushed "Remember what I said"

He left and I was left there staring into the sky.

"..."

"......1 month left......"

Sorry for not updating frequently. I am busy as hell. But here it is. Do you guys want an epilogue? In 3 chpters, this will end... ;-; I am currently writing (using pen) another story but it's not related to this. Anyway, tell me if you want more, I will post it here. Again sorry!!
