Emily
I just laid on the couch.
Thinking about how fucked up my life is now.I rubbed my belly, "I'm so sorry little one. You don't deserve to live in this cruel, fucked up world."
A tear slipped out of my eye.
I pity this child. Having Daniel as a father? Poor little thing.
"Don't worry baby. I won't let that monster of a father hurt you."
I stood up and went to get a glass of water.
I came back to the couch and open the tv. I saw my face pop up from the news.
I envy her. She looks so happy in the picture. Her smile is up to her ears.
It made me cry to the thought of me never being happy as I am in the past."Stop crying Emily. You have to stay strong." I whispered to myself.
I turned the tv off and placed the glass on the coffee table.
I went upstairs to my mom's room.
I turned the knob and saw mom sitting on the bed reading.
"Emily." She smiled.
I walked to her with a fake smile on my face.
"Mom..." I trailed off.
"I-I'm... Pregnant." I tried to hold back the tears but I failed.
"Oh, honey." She held out her arms towards me.
I ran to her crying.
"Shh... Don't cry baby."
"Mom... I don't want the baby to suffer." I said, with my head on her shoulders.
"The baby won't suffer baby. Maybe Daniel won't hurt you anymore now that you're pregnant. I hope so."
I got off her and smiled weakly.
"Sorry. I got your shirt wet." I wiped my tears away.
She chuckled, "It's fine dear."
"Are you hungry mom? Do you want something to eat?"
"No. I'm fine. I'm just going to take a nap. My head is aching again."
"Ok mom. Sleep well." I kissed her cheek and left her room.
I went downstairs again and sat on the couch.
I still can't believe... My old bestfriend, kidnapped me. My old bestfriend, is a psychopath.
