Emily

I suddenly woke up by the door opening.

I rubbed my eyes and saw Daniel with groceries.

"Hey honey. Sorry I woke you." He said smiling.

I just smiled at him.

He walked over to me and kissed my cheek.

Disgusting

He placed the groceries in the fridge then walked to me.

He sat next to me then put his arm around my shoulders.

"I have a surprise for you tomorrow."

I looked at him and arched my brow.

"What surprise?"

"A surprise means it has to be secret dumdum."

I frowned at him. He laughed at my reaction.

"My wife is so beautiful even if she's frowning." He kissed my lips.

I wanted to barf.

"I'm gonna prepare dinner. You go and wash up dear." He stood up and went to the kitchen.

I went to 'our' room and got some clothes. I showered in the bathroom and wore my clothes.

I went downstairs and the smell of fried chicken filled the room.

It made my stomach growl.

"Dinner is done. You go ahead. I'll just take this up to your mom's room." He took a plate with rice and a chicken leg and went up to her room.

I started to eat my food.

Daniel came down and sat beside me.

While I was eating, I felt someone was staring at me.

I took a quick glance at him, I saw him staring.

"Stop staring at me and eat." I said bossyly.

"Sorry. I just couldn't help myself."

Thank God he stopped staring. It made me feel so uncomfortable.

I finished eating and left my plate in the sink.

"I'm gonna head to sleep. Goodnight." I simply said.

"Oh. Okay then.. Goodnight. Love you." Daniel said, looking a bit disappointed.

"Yeah. Night." I smiled at him and went to the room.

I crawled into bed and closed my eyes.

Is there still any hope of us escaping?
