"Not too fast!"

"Come on, Dancer!" Bran had been trotting around them for the past ten minutes atop his new saddle. The broad smile upon his face had yet to leave. He circled around Adelaie, Robb and Theon as they sat on a log, just big enough to fit the three of them.

"When are you going to tell him?" Theon asked Robb, who sighed,

"Not now."

"Blood for blood. You need to make the Lannisters pay for Jory and the others." Theon told Robb. Adelaie sighed, and shook her head slightly. She was sat between the pair.

"You're talking about war, Theon."

"I'm talking about justice."

"Only the lord of Winterfell can call in the bannermen and raise an army."

"A Lannister put a spear through your father's leg."

"And his mother was foolish enough to take one captive." Adelaie snapped, earning both boy's attention,

"My mother was a fool for taking the man who crippled my brother?" snarked in slight anger,

"No man guilty of such a crime would return to the scene." Adelaie started, her sharp eyes landing on the glaring boy, "Your mother was a fool for taking a Lannister as her prisoner while your father and sisters are surrounded by dangerous people, especially while a Lannister is wed to a king." Bran's voice was heard in the background, yet none of them payed attention to him,

"A Lannister put a spear through his father's leg Adelaie. The kingslayer rides for Casterly Rock where no one can touch him-"

"You want me to march on Casterly Rock?" Robb interrupted,

"You're not a boy anymore, they attacked your father, they already started the war. It's your duty to represent your house when your father can't." Theon told Robb, slightly leaning forward so he could look into the hardened eyes of the Stark,

"And it's not your duty because it's not your house." Adelaie could tell his words struck Theon hard, but it was the least of her worries. Her eyes scanned the forest around them, no longer seeing or hearing Bran, causing her to stand,

"Where's Bran?" she questioned. Both Theon and Robb stood, and looked around, trying to spot the boy, yet Theon stopped,

"Don't know. It's not my house, nor is it yours." Theon told her, earning both hers and Robb's attention as he walked away, not bothering to help search. Robb sighed, turning his head to see if he could spot the boy,

"Come, let's go find him." Robb nodded at her words, following as she began to walk deeper into the forest. Robb caught up, now at her side as she brushed branch after branch from her path,

"Do you ever miss him?" Robb broke the silence, causing Adelaie to turn to him for a moment. She knew exactly who he was talking about,

"Yes, he was my closest friend along with you, us three grew up together."

"You loved him though." Robb's words caused her step to falter, only slightly but his keen eyes never missed it,

"I did, and he left to take the black. I gave up on him the day he rode north." She informed him, a slight bitterness swarmed in her words. Robb was joyed by her words, though he would never tell her. He knew with Jon around his affections for the girl would go unnoticed, she was too close with him to ever give Robb a chance.

"Moving on is a hard ask, but sometimes it can be rewarding." Robb told her, a small laugh escaping her lips before she said anything. Only, her words never came as their eyes landed on Bran's white horse, Dancer, four people at his side. One was cutting the straps on his legs while the others conversed, none of them noticing the pair approach.
