Leaving

William's Pov:

I woke up this morning to the sound of Harry's shower going in the master bedroom so I took a shower in the guest bathroom downstairs and got dressed and saw that Harry still wasn't downstairs yet so I decided to make breakfast.

After a few minutes of cooking breakfast I heard Harry's boots on the stairs and I looked up from the pan full of eggs to see Harry walking down the stairs dressed in his uniform.

" I made breakfast. You hungry?" I ask Harry

" Yeah. I could eat." Harry tells me

Harry grabs two plates and we both sit at his dining room table, eating in silence until we have both finished eating.

" Are you ready to go to the airport?" I ask Harry as I finish washing the dishes

" Yeah. I'm ready." Harry tells me

" Alright. Let's go." I tell him and I grab my keys and we walk to the front door and we grab Harry's bags and put them in my car

I get in and start the car and I start to drive to the airport.

After a while of driving we arrive at the airport and we unload Harry's bags out of my car and look at each other face to face for last time for 8 months.

After a few seconds of staring at each other for a few seconds I pull Harry into my arms and hug him and he hugs me back.

" I have to go." Harry tells me

" Yes, you do." I tell him

" I'll see you in 8 months." Harry tells me

" I'll see you in 8 months, Harry. Be careful and I love you." I tell him

" I love you too. Tell the family that I will see them in 8 months." Harry tells me

" I will." I tell him

Harry nods his head at me and turns and walks into the airport.

After a while I can no longer see Harry so I get in my car and drive back to Kensington and walk into my house and see Kate and Pa and Camilla sitting in the living room.

" Harry told me to tell you that you loves you and that he will see you in 8 months." I Pa

" I'm going to miss him." Pa says as I sit down next to Kate

" We all are. The next 8 months are going to be hell without him here." I tell Pa

" When is the statement about Harry being deployed again going to be made public?" Kate asks

" The statement will be released in 3 days." I tell Kate

The 4 of us sit in the living room in silence trying to get used to life without Harry for 8 months while he is in Afghanistan.

I honestly don't know how I am going to live without Harry for 8 months but I can handle 8 months as long as I don't have to live without him forever.
