Throughout the twins' first several months at Hogwarts, Fred and George kept their word of writing to their baby sister every day. Now it was almost time for winter holidays which meant they will be returning home. Though the letters didn't cure much of her sadness as she didn't have anyone to play with anymore, she didn't have her brothers physical company that she was used to. She still looked forward to the daily letters.

"Oh y/n dear, look what arrived!" Her mother called as y/n ran down the stairs and into the kitchen where her mother was overseeing the dishes that were washing themselves in the sink.

Errol was laying on the kitchen table before releasing a letter and flying away. Y/n smiled brightly and ran next to your mother who picked her small body up and placed her daughter on her lap, before tearing open the envelope and reading a letter to her written by her brothers.

Dear y/n,
Guess what, only one more day before we can come home and see you! We can't wait to play with you and catch up with you just like how we used to. Remember to be good for mum and dad, and we will see you very soon.
- Gred and Forge.

She smiled and clapped her hands, her brothers would be coming home the next day and she couldn't be more excited. She couldn't help but ramble about everything she would do with her brothers, and it couldn't help but let Molly's mind wander to when Fred and George were younger and rambled about things they would do with their baby sibling. She smiled at how much the girl resembled them.

Fast forward to the next day where y/n accompanied her parents at King's Cross station, where the Hogwarts express pulled into platform 9 and three quarters. Molly held her daughters hand tightly, knowing she would take off at the sight of her older brothers. Soon, the two identical twins stepped onto the platform and went to collect their things from the train before pushing their trolleys to their parents.

Once the path was clear and the twins were a few feet away, y/n let go of her mother's hand and ran forward to Fred first who bent down and picked her up, he had tears in his eyes as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I missed you Freddie." Her small voice spoke into his ear, he smiled brighter than ever before handing her to George, who smiled just as bright.

"I missed you too Georgie." She giggled as George placed a kiss on her forehead.

"You got so big while we were gone!" The twins said in unison as George bounced her in his arms, causing the small girl to giggle loudly.

Once Percy, Bill and Charlie arrived to the group and gave hugs to y/n, the Weasley family left the station and flew home using the flying car.

Once the family got home to the burrow and the older siblings settled in again, unpacking and getting comfortable being home, y/n joined Fred and George in their shared bedroom, sitting on Fred's bed.

"I remember when you were just a baby and you couldn't sleep at night and I brought you in here." Fred chuckled, imagining his sister from when she was three.

"Yeah, and when I tried to take you from Fred and Fred wasn't happy about it." George laughed. Fred seemed to have a special bond with his sister, more so than George did. Even though y/n adored them both equally, she did sense that Fred was more clingy to her.

The rest of the night, the twins spent catching up with their sister, telling her all about the magical school and what the classes are like. Their new friends, new interest in quidditch, and what living there is like.
