A/N so sorry about the delay been busy with school and all. Thank you for your patience.😊😘

Mary....

I picked up everything I needed that night. I just really wanted that necklace back. Some thing to remember him. But I can't give up now. Holy Spirit, please lead me, help me.
Luke made me go back to his house. He said he didn't want me to try anything stupid. So he locked me in a room. I thought about climbing down the window but he had people to keep watch.
I cried till my eyes were blood shot red and I got down on my knees and began to pray.
Dear God, I know you see me. I know you know how I hurt. Please help me out of this. Please I believe you will Amen.

I stood close to the window as I stared trying to come up with a plan to escape. But the "boys" outside crushed my plans. I'll be caught in no time. Why does he even have this number of men working for him?
"It's not like his a drug lord or anything" I gasped realizing that he actually is. I mean come on I've be on "errands"
"I need to get out of here." I said as I opened the window.
"Hey what are you doing!" one of the boys said seeing me.
"I'm not trying to runaway if that's what you think! I need some fresh air" I did need some fresh air.
"we're watching you."
"Whatever." I said Stepping away from the window, then I plopped on the bed in frustration.

A few hours later I woke up to someone unlocking the door. I stood and the door opened to Jock.
"Here" he said handing me a box of pizza.
"Thank you, I'm starving."
There was something about Jock, he looked too innocent to be indulged in all this.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Shut up! Will ya." Wow he doesn't sound as innocent as he looks. He stared at me with a terrible sneer, that ran shivers down my spine.
"Uh, thank you for the uh-" he walked out slamming the door before I could finish. For a second I wished I wouldn't hear him lock the door but there it was. I should really keep my mouth shut. I thought to myself.
"you could get in trouble do you realise that." I said smacking my fore head scolding myself. Don't judge a book by its cover no matter what. I mean come on this is the guy who would have killed the love of my life. Speaking of love, I hope John realised something was up, after everything I told him...... I hope. It was good I told him.

I opened the pizza box. "Really just two? " I said staring at the slices. I hesitated to pick one thinking about the number of hands that might have touched it. I tried to ignore that thought because I was so hungry. I grabbed one and started eating.

I heard someone unlocking the door again. The door was opened and it was Jock, again. What does he want.
"Where's your passport?"
I stood up and went through my stuffs looking for it.
"Hurry up! " he said losing patience.
"Would you chill out." I said then I finally found it.
He collected it with a smirk.
"Just to make sure there won't be any excuses."
"Whatever" I said to him annoyed as he left and locked the door. So we're actually leaving huh......if I could just reach John somehow a call a clue of some sorts. But I couldn't think of anything. I sat on the bed, then laid down staring at the ceiling.

"Mary, Mary" I woke up to a voice calling me, kinda like subtle.
I looked up at the figure, my eyes cleared to Marcus.
"Get ready we leave in an hour." he said with the usual blankness.
"uh..... Okay." He walked out and didn't lock the door, but there was no way I could try to escape. I didn't have much, just two medium sized bags. I picked them up and decided to take it to the car, probably why he left the door. I came out and saw him sitting in an SUV. He came out and helped me with the bags.
"Thanks" I said to him. He looked at me and nodded. That's weird, I thought to myself. There's something about that nod...there was a little emotion. That's it, no blankness. I smiled a little as he went back into the car. I didn't judge the fact that he worked for Luke or whatever, but he didn't seem like trouble. He did his job and was loyal. Was loyal, that's the thing.
