04 | Day Log 🍃

I sat at the wheel, turning up the radio as I cruised down the highway to Busan.

Our parents were in the truck driving behind us.

"Are we there yet?" My little brother asked.

"You asked that 10 minutes ago Tae, we have half an hour left to go." I replied slightly annoyed.

"I have to pee. Also, I wanna sit in the front." He whined.

"No, there's a reason I made you sit in the back."

He huffed before I turned down an exit.

"Just be quiet and hold it."

"Oh thank god." Taehyung breathed as he jumped out of the car and hurried into the new house.

I slowly got out and stretched before turning back to see no truck. I sighed as I took a seat on the step of the porch.

I felt a presence next to me.

"Hey hyung?" Taehyung asked, I hummed while keeping my gaze forward at the street.

"Did you break up with Youjin?"

I nodded.

"Did you guys ever, you know, do it?"

I shook my head.

"Oh, okay."

"Why?"

"I was just wondering if it should hurt or not."

"Okay." I paused. "Wait what?"

"Stupid alarm." I grumbled as I sat up.

I slowly made my way through the field of boxes in my room before exiting it and going down the stairs.

The sun was rising as I stood in the kitchen and took out a glass from the box on the counter before filling it with water.

As I began to drink I noticed something.

Something was strange in the air.

I then spit out my water into the sink.

'I didn't see Lavender.'

As a matter of fact, I never dreamt at all the night prior.

The day was turning out to be stranger and stranger.

"Pretend we aren't related, you're gross." I instructed as Taehyung pouted.

"That's what you said before-"

"Because I meant it and I still do." I stated coldly before getting out of my car and beginning to walk away.

I went through the parking lot before entering a court yard.

A variety of students were scattered throughout the courtyard, mostly separated by cliques; the nerds, the band kids, the emo's, the popular kids-

"That's a secret silly!" A familiar voice laughed out from the table.

I noticed the group of popular kids circled around a boy.

One with the brightest smile.

He was blonde, and his eyes became small when he smiled because of his chubby cheeks.

He looked soft.

I fell to the ground.

"Watch it new kid." A guy growled as he looked down at me, the three other guys around him did the same.

I stood up to defend myself when I realized that there was a circle of students surrounding us.

I wanted to hurt him.

I could see the blonde boy in my peripherals.

And I couldn't bring myself to do it infront of him.

Instead I bowed.

"I'm sorry, I got lost and wasn't paying attention."

I then hurried off to the office.
