Idabashi looked at an unconscious Kiibo. "Alright. Let's start!" Naomi nodded. She opened up a compartment on Kiibo's back. "Hm, it seems like everything is fine here!" She said, inspecting the wires. "So it wasn't a malfunction with that. Let's check if he has a virus." Idabashi said. Naomi nodded. "Haruki! We need you!" She called. Haruki came in. "What." He questioned. "We need you to check if he has a virus!" She said. "Fine."

Naomi and Idabashi watched as Haruki did a check up. "He's fine. No viruses." He said, stepping away. "Then it seems he just ran out of battery. Let's charge him up!" Idabashi said, and took off Kiibo's hat. Kiibo's charger sat there, which Idabashi grabbed. He plugged Kiibo in. "I wonder why you ran out so quickly." He mumbled. "Now that that's settled... let's go get dinner!" Naomi exclaimed. "Idabashi, what're you wanting from the store?" She asked. "Top Ramen." Idabashi answered. "Righty-o! C'mon, Haruki! Let's go!" Naomi pulled a protesting Haruki out to the car. Idabashi chuckled.

Eventually, Kiibo got enough battery to wake up. "Ugh..." He looked around, and saw Idabashi sitting in a chair, slurping noodles. "Morning, son!" He greeted. "What happened?" Kiibo asked. "You ran out of battery and collapsed in front of your friend." Idabashi explained. "Oh... wait, I did?" Idabashi nodded. "The poor girl was so worried. We explained that you just ran out of battery." Idabashi chuckled. "Ah... I apologize for making you reveal that again, Professor. This is the fourth time, correct?" Kiibo asked. "Yup. And don't call me Professor, call me Dad!" Kiibo didn't respond.

"By the way, I was wondering if you had any clue as to why you ran out of battery so quickly." Idabashi said, slurping up the last of the ramen cup. "Hm... I'm not sure." Kiibo answered. "Have you been doing anything different than usual?" Idabashi asked. "Well... me and Maki have been looking for Kokichi for awhile...."

"Aha!" Idabashi clapped. "You've been stressed out about your friend. That's why you ran out of battery so quickly." He said. Kiibo thought over that. "That might be." Kiibo said. "You really care for that purple haired boy, don't you?" Idabashi asked. Kiibo wasn't sure why, but that question made him feel flustered. "I... er...." Idabashi smiled. "I'm glad you're making lots of friends. Speaking of which, your friend Maki mentioned calling the police about him." Idabashi informed him. "She did? I remember her saying something like that... I should go hel-" Idabashi cut him off. "No. Kiibo, you may be a robot, but you still need to maintain your health. Please go to your room and charge. You may go help once your battery is fully charged." He said.  Kiibo looked disappointed, but nodded. "...Alright."

He headed up to his room and plugged himself in. "...I hope Kokichi is alright...." He thought, before powering off.
