Rishi positioned himself slightly behind, while Rutuja released her grip on both Advika and Zarna, allowing them some relief.

"Perhaps we should have a conversation," suggested Ray, stepping forward to assist Maya in guiding Daksh towards the shore.

"This guy was the one who attacked us," Maya stated firmly, her voice laced with indignation.

Advika inquired, "Who exactly are all of you?"

"Daksh," said Rutuja, taking a step closer to him. "Did you really attack them?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms. Daksh closed his eyes and turned his head away, remaining silent.

"Why?" Rishi interjected; his tone laced with curiosity. He removed his jacket, feeling a dryness creep into his throat, and cast a glance at the scorching sun overhead.

"Yes, we were simply going about our own affairs when this guy suddenly launches an attack on us," Ray affirmed.

Daksh shook his head. "No, you were not minding your own business," he countered, his gaze fixed on Rutuja. "They have the book. They have earned the powers," he revealed.

Rishi's disbelief was evident. "That can't be true," he exclaimed.

Daksh's voice brimmed with certainty as he retorted, "Oh, but it is. How else do you explain his ability to conjure a fireball? How can these ordinary individuals stand against us? Against me?"

After a brief pause, Rishi contemplated the situation before approaching Rutuja. Leaning in close, he whispered into her ear, "To inflict any harm on Daksh or weaken him, you'll need special powers. He's incredibly strong, stronger than any of us."

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Advika stepped forward, positioning herself between the two groups. "Let's settle this peacefully," she suggested. "What exactly is your connection to the book?"

"We are the protectors," Rutuja declared with determination.

"Protectors?" Maya questioned; her curiosity piqued.

Rutuja nodded, continuing, "We have been trained to safeguard the book, to confront and combat our enemies."

Maya crossed her arms, her curiosity growing. "We need answers. Who exactly is the enemy we're dealing with? And why does the book require protection?"

Rishi, sensing the urgency, interjected, "Before we delve into that, we should address how you came into possession of the book. Where did you find it?"

Advika hesitated for a moment before responding, "We stumbled upon it in a library. But the details are not as crucial as understanding why you believe you are the rightful protectors."

Tej joined in, seeking clarity. "The connection between you and the book remains unclear. Who appointed you as the protectors?"

As confusion lingered in the air, Ray chimed in, voicing the collective sentiment. "This is all so perplexing. We don't have any ill intentions towards the book. In fact, it seems our goals align. There's no reason for us to be adversaries."

Zarna nodded, reinforcing Ray's point. "Indeed, why engage in conflict when our ultimate mission appears to be the same?"

Rutuja supported Daksh as he regained his footing, her voice filled with concern. "Daksh, why didn't you inform us about these guys? How did you even come across them?"

Rishi interjected with a hint of humor, "Our hero here has a bit of an aversion to accepting help, you know, Ru."

Rutuja approached Advika, her tone earnest. "Listen, just hand over the book and step away from this matter. It's far too dangerous. Not something suitable for delicate young ladies like yourselves."

Daksh couldn't help but chuckle at Rutuja's comment.

Advika, displaying her unwavering resolve, crossed her arms defiantly. "If you think you have what it takes, go ahead and try to take it from us."

The tension in the air grew palpable as the two groups stood facing each other, the fate of the book hanging in the balance.

Tej and Ray exchanged a knowing look, their smiles revealing a shared understanding.

"Daksh, hold on!" Rishi's voice filled with urgency as he reached out, his arm extended towards the object Daksh had tossed into the air.
