HI!

I love you. That's all. Bye <3

Mitch’s POV

I opened my eyes to find Kevin standing in front of me. We were surrounded by blackness, minus the spotlights that were shining down on the both of us.

“Mitch...?” Kevin asked me in confusion, his red eye glowing.

“Where the hell are we?” I asked him. I felt as if I were waking from a good night’s rest.

“I don’t know…I just woke up…I think…” He stretched and started to look around the room, but there was nothing to be seen.

“We were looking at records…then there was a loud noise…” I shut my eyes and tried to imagine the thrift shop we had been shopping in. I was looking down at records…a door flew open…now we were here. “We were kidnapped.”

“Must have been pretty powerful to kidnap me…” Kevin said with wide eyes. I was a tiny little thing, Kevin wasn’t so much. He was muscular with big arms and was well over six feet tall. He looked like a superhero.

“Do you think it’s her?”

“That or we were abducted by aliens.” He joked.

I laughed. “Shut up…this is serious…”

“Alright, alright. It has to be Betty…who else would this be?”

Lights turned on all around us suddenly, startling the two of us out of our conversation. We were in an all-white room that was lit up so well that we could see every detail in our clothing and features. We both backed up a bit, unsure of what was about to happen.

“Kevin…”

“I know, Mitch…” He said matter of factly.

This is where we were taken when Betty turned on us. She threw the four of us in this room and played mind games with us until she just disappeared – there was no explanation for it, but she left us without our powers and we were virtually useless.

“Why are we here? Why now? We don’t get back to the kids for another two weeks…”

“I don’t know…it must be another warning…”

“Maybe she’s showing us what’s coming…” He said. “Why is she coming back for us? I don’t get it…”

“Because she didn’t get what she wanted and she’s not going to stop until it’s all hers.” The lights went off again except for my spotlight and I gasped. “Kevin?!”

The lights turned back on and he was gone.

“No!” I yelled out and ran towards where Kevin once was. “Kevin!” I yelled out even though I should have known it was hopeless. “Oh my, God…Scott please get me out of here…” I said under my breath and looked to the floor hopelessly.

Scott’s POV

Mitch and Kevin were missing for an entire hour. I was refusing to leave the thrift store at this point even though both Avi and Kirstie said we should return to the site.

“She’s not going to bring them back to some little hole in the wall thrift shop, Scott.” Kirstie said.

“Alright fine…” I finally gave in after sitting there for what felt like forever. “Are you sure this is that woman?”

“What else would it be?” Avi asked.

I sighed and shut my eyes. I should have stayed with Mitch so I could have been with him during all of this.
