Bad shape

"You're gonna die in here and no one will know" Alex tormented her as he crouched down her freezing body. Abbie didn't even have any energy to let out a cry, instead she just meant forward and relied on the walls to keep her up. Alex left her alone in the basement and she stayed their in pain, all alone.

"Get in" the taller man said to jay while opening the vans door. Jay sighed and got in, he felt horrible for leaving Abbie especially after he saw how much of a bad shape she was in. He couldn't shake the sound of her cries and screams as they rung in his ears. The van sped off from the house and drove back to the navy pier car park, "get out" the driver said while holding a gun at jay. There was a moment of silence before jay opened the door and jumped out, he slammed the door shut in anger and the van sped off leaving him alone. Jay had no way of contacting hank or hailey so he walked further into the pier to try and find someone with a cellphone. He found a pregnant woman and stopped her, "excuse me, I'm the police. Can I please use your phone?" He said pleadingly. The woman smiled at him kindly, "of course" she said while getting her phone from her purse. Jay sighed and thanked her. He walked away and dialled haileys number in hopes she picks up since it wasn't a regular number.

"Hey I'm getting a call, could be jay" Hailey said to them all in the bullpen. Everyone gathered close and listened in.
Hailey: "jay is this you?"
Jay: "yeah, yeah it's me. I'm at navy pier I need you to come get me quick"
Hailey: "yeah, okay I'm on my way"

Hailey hung up the phone and nodded at everyone before leaving to go pick up jay, she sped off quickly full of worry because it didn't sound like he had Abbie with him. She pulled up just in front of jay and jay quickly slid in, "where's Abbie?" Hailey said while speeding off to get back to the district again. Jay shook his head, "I'll explain when We get there" he said while rubbing his hands on his face. The truth was, he didn't want to relive her screams too many times and the images of her eyes begging for help would drown him so he wanted to wait and explain everything once when everyone was around him. Tyler was still at med, he had no clue what was going on or no clue where his sister was.

"Jay, you good?" Hank said as jay and hailey walked back into the bullpen. Jay nodded and signalled for everyone to gather round, "I'm fine, I got to the house they're keeping her at. They gave me Abbie but figured out the files were fake so Alex tortured her again..." jay said with a frown. Hank sighed, "she's still there?" He raised an eyebrow. Jay nodded, "it was either I leave with the men or he kills her so..." jay sighed. Hank nodded he went to speak but haileys monitor pinged again, they all turned to look at it as hailey walked over to it. "It's abbies phone..." she sighed as she accepted the incoming Skype call.
Alex: "your top detective here, look at her. She hasn't spilled a word..."
Hank: "just give her back to us, we can sort this out"
Alex: "no way, you've already blew us off once. You ain't getting her back"

The unit were stood watching Abbie laying on the floor behind him with glassy eyes, jay couldn't remember leaving her looking she looked that bad, they must've took another run at her. "Sarge when I left her she wasn't in that bad of a condition, she's not gonna last another night..." jay whispered to Hank and the unit. Hank nodded and turned back to the screen.
Hank: "how about we make a deal?"
Alex: "what deal?"
Hank: "you give us Abbie back, we'll tell you everything we know in person okay?"
Alex: "hell no, you're not getting her back. That's up to me what I do with her, just tell me what you know right now..."

Hank went to make peace with him but Alex grabbed a knife from the desk he had nearby. He set the phone down on the floor so the guys could see what he was doing again, Alex crouched down on top of Abbie so she couldn't kick her legs, her arms were still chained up to the walls so she couldn't move even if she wanted to. Alex laughed and looked at the camera before covering her mouth and taking the knife to abbies chest, he slid the knife along it and he was going to continue but hank spoke out. Abbie was attempting to scream and cry but all she could do was mumble and let her tears fall. Alex kept his hand on abbies mouth as she laid there breathing heavily.
Hank: "alright, stop it now! Get one of your guys to meet one of my detectives at navy pier in 30 minutes. We'll tell you everything."
Alex: "deal"

And with that mini show over he hung up the phone, the girls were watching the screen with tears strolling down their faces and the boys weren't much better. "We can't leave her any longer. Jay, you think you know where abouts the house is?" Hank sighed in worry. Jay looked doubtful, "not exactly but if we drove by the buildings I saw I could probably remember which turn offs we took..." he said hopefully. Hank nodded, "alright, rojas you're gonna meet with the guy and arrest him then get patrol to take him away. We'll stay with you until you've got him then jay you'll be with me and hailey, just try your best to navigate us and the rest of you follow suit" he said calmly before going back to his office. They all nodded and got ready to leave.
