As a former Miss Venezuela contestant, there are two things Cee knows about: 1) beauty standards and 2) men who can't see past her looks. To forget about the second, Cee wants to focus on her career as part of Ultra Beauty and Spa. If only she hadn't dated her asshole boss in the past.
Tae Yang is returning to the US after his military service, eager to pick his musical career back up and to avoid the blind dates his parents are setting up for him. But on the return flight, the plane almost goes down and he ends up clutching his seat mate, Cee, for dear life.
After surviving the ordeal, they exchange numbers and start to become friends. Cee worries they could be something more, especially when she's sworn off men and he's six years younger. Meanwhile, Tae Yang hasn't told her the whole truth of who he is: a celebrity.
