Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
You run downstairs to see gallo " hey, good morning " You smile and sit next to him on the couch " morning " He says and kisses you, you pull away and smile " ok, ready to go " You smile and jump up from the couch
" yeah, let's go " He says and the two of you leave for shift
You walk in to see squad at the table " hey guys " you smile and throw a pack of cookies at capp and Tony " Cookies " capp says exited and you laugh " picked you guys up some on my way here " You smile " share them" you say pointing to them and they nod and you look at severide and cruz " keep an eye on them two " you say nodding to them and they nod " sure thing, Halstead " severide says and you walk in to the lockers
You walk in to see Gallo " hey, stranger" you smile then walk over to him and give him a small kiss then walk over to your locker again, He walks over and puts a small picture of the two of you on the inside of your locker
" aww thanks " you smile before looking behind you and around the room before kissing him " thank you " You squeeze his hand before walking out
Later that day
You were sitting at squad with Tony and capp as they fight about the last cookie then they stop and nod to the door
You look over and you can hear Tony go to the other as you see five men in a miletery uniform, you look back again to see everyone behind you,
You walk up to them and see Jacob, Luke, Lewis, Liam and Leo, your eyes widen as you see you and Ashers old friends
They all stand and you salute them before running and huging them " hey guys " you smile and hug Liam the last person
" Ava..." Leo starts and they look at you seriously, you step away and look at them " Ava.. Asher died in combat, yesterday" Luke says and your eyes widen again and you think through all the memories then shake your head then look at the five of them " how " you ask " bombing " Luke then says and you nod then you can feel a hand on your shoulders and you look to see gallo, you smile then you back to them
" when's the funeral " you ask " Saturday, 2 pm " Jacob says and you nod " I'll be there " You say then hug them again then they leave
" you ok" Herrmann asks and you smile " yeah, I'll be fine just shocked " you say then everyone goes there own way again
You go to the lockers to see gallo again " hey " You smile and he hugs you " you ok " He kisses your cheek " yeah I'm fine " You smile " hey I'll come over tonight, we can watch a movie " He says and you nod then walk out
At the end of shift You and Stella walks out together talking " Bye, kidd" you say " wait are you going to Molly's tonight " she smiles " yeah maybe, I'll let you now " You smile then walk to your car and drive home
You get home and go up to your room and change

You go downstairs again to see gallo in your kitchen " hey " You smile " hi " so what movie we watching " He asks " I don't know but I was thinking we could take a nap then maybe later going to Molly's " You smile and he nods
" yeah sure, come on " He says talking your hand and going up to your room and taking a nap
You both wake up an hour or two later " hi" You say still half asleep " hey, we going to molly's " He asks and you nod " yeah sure" You say and sit up
You get up and go over to the bathroom to get ready

" hey, ready to go " You smile " yeah, let's go " He smiles and you both go downstairs and out the door

I'll be updating less and it will probably take longer but I will be finishing this story but just not as soon as I was hoping because I just don't know what to write about but I do have some ideas
